Suggestion, cut along the whole length of the stomach so you don’t have to press on the female. Internally gestated eggs are a lot more delicate than eggs that are laid outside of the body to develop. Since the female was dead, the safest way was to either cut along the whole length of the stomach or cut the tail off so you could pull out the eggs through a bigger hole and minimize risk of the young being killed as they exit her body.
Had to do the same thing with a fancy guppy. It about killed me, she was one of my best females. X-acto no11 sharp angle blade, and got 4 out of 15. Nicely done!
@Namira B that's so sad bro, you should have seperated them frm the big ones my black molly had somewhere around 30-40 babies 4 days ago at 3:43am I seperated the mother frm them and I had no deadths till now only the ones that didn't hatch frm the yellow eggs dies only 2 didn't hatch , even a dissabled fry Is looking healthy and showing the chance of survival , it was born w one smaller fin which makes it harder for it to swim it spended 3days swiming like a sucker fish in the bottom of the tank and now it's somehow learned to swim properly, you could have saved all the babies and seel them at the fish store 😭

A well setup tank had no worries about fry loss.
