Maggie the Cat was her finest performance, even more remarkable when you realize that her beloved Mike Todd died during production, and MGM gave her only two weeks off to mourn.
She might have been hard to deal with on making movies but she new the game of Hollywood. She knew her looks and her acting was a huge money maker for the studio’s and those assets of hers brought more fans to the theaters. She was a May West of that generation
Her eyes were unbelievable. I had a chance to meet her but my jerk of my ex-husband refused to go to the affair. I was hard broken but wanted to get an autograph of hers or something or just to see those gorgeous eyes and double lashes which I was old is a strange phenomenon since no one else have that many lashes and violet eyes.
My favorite performance was in "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof." Her critic found her performance as a Southern accent in "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" despite the fact she was British she was wonderful in her performance and so was Paul Newman.
She wasn’t British! She was American. Just happened to be born in England. In the beginning she was marketed as English. I don’t know why. Since when is being English better than being American?
Yes… Her Beauty was almost unreal… The black hair, alabaster skin, violet eyes, double set of eye lashes, sensual lips, heart shaped face, hourglass figure… She really won the genetic lottery! Unfortunately she didn’t really age well. She was not even remotely as gorgeous as she was as a young woman, when she was 35-40. Which is still considered young today.. Like a poppy - the most beautiful flower in the world, but so fragile and delicate… Anyway… she was a good person. That’s the most important thing to remember about her ❤
What a pity such ravishing and stunning beauties, icons, most famous celebs as Liz Taylor, Marylin Monroe, Natalie Wood, Elvis Presley ended up as drug and/or alcohol addicts!
She certainly is the most beautiful but also wisest actress in knowing what she wanted when they sent her screenplays - and it was wise of her to tell them no less than 1-2 million per the film, "Cleopatra" back in the 1960s. Poor Marilyn couldn't get not even $1Million per film but I believe it had to do with her always being late or not accommodating the directors or actors.
And we can give Liz one more chance, and we can give love one more chance, we can give Liz, give love, give Liz, give love, give Liz, give love one more chance ~ xxx…
She inherited her father's bone structure and colouring.I think there was some Irish in her that's where her colouring came from. Also some swedish on her mother's side
Beauty alone Does not guarantee a happy life. You need not go further than Hollywood.@@parkerottoackley6325 A lot of unhappy people came out of Hollywood.
What was your favorite performance by Elizabeth Taylor?

Elizabeth went to the Betty Ford Center and got help for her addiction
Taylor died of congestive heart failure. But, yes, she never was able to defeat her drug addition to pain killers.
Yes. Very very sad indeed.
She is still the most beautif

@@diamonddrone7504 It's a matter of taste. It's okay to favor Monroe. But she was a mess and died way too early.
Super blessed woman....
For being such a beautiful woman her taste was rather gaudy. I believe less is more when it comes to jewelry.
I agree!
Well her opinion wasnt your opinion😃

Nana I always tell you where I am.
Hopefully her fam is doing alright
More than fine I'm sure.
What does being married and divorced have to do with her businesses
Not a thing.
....and to Larry my final husband I leave my Monopoly set.
Married a short time to a construction worker who did little for her including sulking during outings? Aw is the male unhappy with the monopoly set.
He got quite a lot…before marriage during and after marriage and her death. But I believe, he also has passed
Ll
The definition of the classic beauty…before pretty meant anorexic
It’s no one business what her money went to
I’m the only person watching this
