      This is one few hair videos that has made sense to me. I,d love to join this challenge,but I have few concerns. However,as someone with very high porosity hair and a 4b/c hair,do you think it's wise to wear hair extensions more than a month?

      Go for natural hair styles since they allow you to get into contact with your hair so that you can moisturize well😍

    The key is length retention. Products doesn't make the hair grow but can aid in keeping length. With that said, drinking enough water, eating right, exercise and spritzing your scalp with water and keeping your scalp healthy helps. The average person's hair only grows 1/2 to an inch per month.

    I’m definitely joining this hair growth challenge. Will be washing tomorrow and measuring after. Never actually kept a hair journal measuring month to month or every two months which is when I usually kept my protective styles in while taking care of my scalp, oiling and moisturizing. My hair is currently bra strap Length but I’m hoping to pass that . Not sure about waist length lol but I hopefully if I continue my regular hair regiment I’ll get there. Patience ! That’s all it takes. Thanks for the information above

    My hair grew..... As in, it is still growing
    Since January I added 6.5 inches. I was shocked, even my hairdresser is testifying.
    I have had no growth since 2017, always at 5.5 inches, but now I reached my goal for the year to get to 12 inches by dec. I'm currently at 12 inches now.
    I am so happy.... I just did the bare minimum with consistency and my hair grew.
    Thank you so much....

    I've been trying to grow my hair for about 4 years now. It's not gotten anywhere with some places absurdly shorter than others and it was starting to get to me so I've been contemplating cutting it.

    • @divineofomaja
      @divineofomaja  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Pick a side... I'd personally cut it if were you but I am not you nor vice versa, I want you to make your choiceby yourself. You may not have to cut it. Just get a good salon, for a trim. Also, not all parts of your hair can be equal but all parts can be healthy 💗

    It's NOT conditioner, it's cream. LCO = Liquid CREAM oil or LOC = Liquid Oil CREAM. Leave-in conditioner can be used as a cream product, but regular conditioner MUST be rinsed out.

    I have a question. I'm on low cut rn, and I'm thinking of doing puff puff(Nigerian hairstyle) that's what I know it as. Will it be good for my hair?

    • @divineofomaja
      @divineofomaja  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Except tension on edges and kitchen area, It's okay. I started my hair in puff but the 2nd year I saw even more growth when I started caring for more without doing threading. So that's a bonus for you 😉

    The C in the LOC method is Cream….not Conditioner. Totally respect and admire your hair growth though! The thought process is layering in products from lightest to heaviest to really seal in that moisture. Im here for the challenge! I do get my hair professionally trimmed every 4 months and I see the progress, Ive just never chronicled it….excited to actually document my growth! Lets go!

    • @divineofomaja
      @divineofomaja  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Happy New year Cara 💗 you're totally correct. LOC could both stand for Liquid, Conditioner and Oil or Leave-in , Cream and Oil which I already explained in these videos; th-cam.com/video/e9LhtbiRIHk/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/IUSMyFj72ik/w-d-xo.html but for starters that's the basic meaning.

    New subie, love your content encouraging n you just have great sense of humor n relatable ❤️, God bless you, still new on the afro journey was on locs they were super simple to maintain for me, but afro🥺😬a lot of work, shedding hair, don't quite see growth, but will start to measure to be sure, my hair looks thick n promising but at the end it falls off, did split end cut not so long ago, will be trying the tips n try to listen to my own hair cz the natural hair community can drive one crazy if one follows every trend🤭. At the moment I am just focused on making sure it is manageable, healthy, have just been washing with shampoo, conditioner, oli, base it with hair food, it is soft to the touch. All the best every one may our Creator help us grow our natural hair😇.
