Put a y fitting with an inline valve to an over board hose to empty the live well.
Adding a thru hull at upper level you desire can be plumbed to side or above water line on transom .
I worked at Wooldridge a bunch of years and saw some prototypes tried .
Some better than others, usually the shorter ones leaving a lot to be desired .
Back pressure changing with load will drive you nuts .
Glad to see it made it back together.

We decided to remove the livewell completely and decided if in the future I wanted on I'd have a cooler livewell that I could take in and out. Personally I don't use a livewell on the type of water we fish this boat it's mostly smaller fish but occasionally you run into monsters. I'm a snap a photo get a weight and release her guy. I appreciate you watching

I eventually want to do a jet boat build. Definetly filtering along to see how this progresses!

I'll be posting alot to do with this topic so follow along. I'll tell you this doing it by cutting a ski down isn't the best way. Buy a pump assembly and weld mounts in for the motor. The benefits are you can upgrade motors easily and your dropping over 60lbs of ski hull out. Plus you don't have to worry so much about leaks. In a boat I'd say that's important lol

@@projectfishinchannel33 I've been watching this done by others and watching the mini jet boat builds and was wondering why no one did that for the durability.

@@CGLFishing in the future I plan to do just that on another build. Most likely a k series motor with a turbo. For now I'm good with this boat till I get the setup and equipment to take on that type of build.

@@projectfishinchannel33 yea I understand that. I have a little 12 ft jon boat I'm going to try and outfit for fishing on my channel but definitely don't have the experience, know how, equipment, or funds to do anything this crazy!

@@CGLFishing definitely understand that. I subscribed to your channel so I'll be on the lookout for new content and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

You gotta braise cast metal. It’s a lost art that not many welders do. My friend had to do it with some exhaust manifolds a few years ago.

Yeah we figured that out the hard way Lol. wasn't a big deal I just ordered another one. I'll replace the jb welded one eventually lol.
