tesla is much beter because it has full self driving so you can sleep while car drive itself, also, it can do the accelarion in 2,7 seconds, which is faster then Porsche
I prefer Porsches too for my daily driver because it doesn’t feel as awkward driving it around the city I live near like it is driving a Rolls or even a Bentley. I’ll admit I do love knowing my car costs more than most people’s houses but at the same time I don’t want to get robbed by some idiot looking for a shortcut in life. Plus Porsche is sufficient in attracting gorgeous women - it’s obviously not quite as sure a thing as say a Rolls but it almost is 😂

They showed the graphics of the concept. Shame they didn't build that car! As a Gen2 owner I'm not convinced enough to want to change mine and I'm surely the absolute target market. Maybe it will grow on me.

In 5 1/2 years its needed a spring on the ash tray lid and a replacement locking mechanism on the charge port flap which was done pretty early as it was a common fault. So yes its been 100% reliable and the absolute best car I've ever owned. Even better than my 992GTS.
I have to say. I had previous model to this and the car was beautiful inside and out. The reason I sold it was because I kept kerbing the wheels which was down to my inept driving ability. The quality of the interior was stunning.
Ever since the hunchback problem was solved, the weakest visual element of the Panamera has been the rear fenders. This is a car in desperate need of a wide body kit. In fact, at this point, it should be table stakes. I mean look at how much more attractive, planted and commanding the Taycan looks because of the wide rear fenders.

It is shameful that Porsche is adopting the same bad things from the competition. The speedometer panel is no longer framed in the dashboard, but simply placed on top. It doesn't get any cheaper than that. The omission of the centre gear lever is a disaster for a sports brand. I have the current model and often use the gear lever for manual gear changes. This Mickey Mouse gear lever next to the steering wheel is a bad joke and has no place in such an expensive car. It may look nicer on the outside, but it's an absolute downgrade on the inside. There will certainly be no new Panamera for me.
It's a step down in many ways. Interior is not driver oriented anymore, it's over digitalized which is completely unnecessary. Car is heavy I'm assuming the real weight will be around 2,2 - 2,4 tons, yes you have an active anti rollbars (PDCC) but it's not helpfull under wet/ice conditions. Overall i like the car's exterior design, those substantial changes are very welcomed and looks modern.

Porsche is the only german car maker that are consistently providing better and better designs over the years.
