They remind me of Renascence Bulldogges at Gargoyle Kennels! Continental Bulldogges look a little more thicker where as the Renascence bulldogges look more athletic! Both bulldogges look awesome!
Vor einigen wochen ist unser Piwick Apollo (von Imelda Angehrn) leider mit 13 1/2 jahren verstorben. Die Rasse hat sich bis heute echt nochmal verändert und meiner Meinung nach aufjedenfall in die richtige Richtung. Unser Apollo hatte ein unbeschreiblich gutes Herz und war vom Charakter unglaublich liebevoll zu Kindern Hunden und allen Besuchern. Wir müssen wohl bald mit der ganzen Familie wieder in die Schweiz fahren und Imelda besuchen. Unser Haus ist nicht mehr so lebeding seit unser geliebter Apollo in den Hundehimmel gehen musste. Einmal ein Conti immer ein Conti!
This breed literally came to be because English Bulldog breeders opened the books in an effort to improve the health of the breed. For some reason though, it didn't stick and the Continental Bulldog had to be a breed of its own. I so wish English Bulldog lovers would just start valuing the health of their dogs over the particular looks. Those particular looks literally shorten the life expectancy of the dogs.
Looking for a nice athletic bulldog,Scott type am bulldog, Levitt bulldog,or my fav alapaha, all nice dogs but so hard to pick my next dog ,I'm in the u.k so should imagine these are out the question,so maybe it's the blue blood alapaha.
I have had an alapaha blue blood bulldog imported from 🇺🇸 10 years back . it passed away 6 months back. They're one of the most difficult dogs to keep alongside jagd terrier . It's a very serious dog breed. My dogo Argentino and indian mastiff are a breeze to keep compared to them.
