Ok so it's currently 2am and I am crying because this song hits to close to home. All of you struggling will and can get through this. I hit a milestone of 55 days. I'm so proud of all of you for any progress you've made. Even if it's 2 seconds.

Well done on 55 days. I’ve only done it once but my best friend does it every week sometimes day and she does it in school. The bad thing is that her friends help her smuggle them into school. I said that it’s wrong but later that night I did the exact same thing…. But to myself. I felt so down. She told me that it’s okay but for me never to do it. Like this song says “I never thought I’d break a promise that soon”. I did it every day for a while. Then my sis got me a therapist. That helped a bit but not a lot. It doesn’t go away instantly. School says me and my friends don’t help her but the only reason she does it is because of them. It hurts me a lot but one day I realised that I can’t do anything but listen. So if anyone has anyone who does it just be there to listen.

My girlfriend checked my wrist and I noticed her scars when we first started dating and I counted them and I saw 5 knew ones. 5, so I went home and put 5 in my wrist. And when she checked my wrist she realized why I did. It hurt me more that she couldn't talk to me about it

I actually had this same situation. My bf found out that i was cutting and he made me promised to never do it again. I did stop. But just for a while until I couldnt take it and started cutting again. But I did it on my legs so he wouldnt see it. My best friend found out and she tried to help me, but i kept cutting and cutting and cutting. Each day I troubled with anxiety and more depression. I always seemed to be alone and thought that no one, literally no one cared for me. I had a special blade that I would use for cutting. My best friend had enough of my condition and took the blade away from me when we were in school and throw it through the window. She was sad of what I have done and seeing her cried because of me made me realize what I was doing. My bf still didnt know what I was doing. I listened to this song and thought about the way he mustve felt when i was cutting. Everyday i showed him a fake smile and kept breaking my promise. Eventually i stopped and everything went well. I still have depression but my bf and best are there for me and writing everything down makes it better.

When I was listening, about halfway through, my wrist started hurting on my scars and I remembered what I put my friends and family through. The fact I never realised how much I loved them and they loved me is something I regret the most in my life. Thank you to my friends, family and even the people I didn't even know who checked up on me, I am forever in you debt.

@@ambi_bambi hey i really hope your daughter gets better! im sure it hurts a lot, my heart goes out to you and your daughter. i assume she has a therapist, if not I'd recommend trying to get one! good luck with helping her get better it's really hard, but id advise not being too hard on her. as a child who cuts, it makes it worse when my parents are hard on me when I cut. it's scary getting every sharp object taken away and when they yell at me.

3 months later my mom found her hanging in the basement my whole family was depressed for months until my aunt sign us up for counseling session
1 year later Mom and Dad don't have depression anymore

My friend has recently committed suicide because of her abusive parents... She was my bff since Kindergarten, Everyday she had a fake smile, she wanted me to smile and not worry about her. From this tragic lost I grabbed a knife and was about to cut myself until I remembered the memories we had with eachother. I'm currently healing from my lost, but these are for people who feels alone and has know one to talk to....

My sister died... my parents got divorced... and I’m suffering from depression and... this song is the only thing that’s has kept me clean for so long

Wish we had musicians to touch on these subjects when I was in high school..even in middle school. I am a former cutter and Suicide survivor. I live with anxiety/depression..and a few medical issues that have literally taken alot away from me physically and mentally. Also a PTSD sufferer I have to give a horns high to BMike and artists like him. Especially in the hop hop genre where not easily brought up. Kudos to all here in positive comments...we all can get through this. Those struggling..know you always can find help. It may be scary at "those places" but they are there to help. I was in state school and i was a very happy child you know loving life like any other grade 7 kid till the day i started high school i met a guy that i thought was my world he was in grade 9 i was then in grade 8 i fell madly in love with the boy till he started cheating on me with my best friend me and my mate started fight so i started cutting i thought that putting scars on my body was the only way of feeling happy again till the day my beautiful sister blessed me with a beautiful niece she told me if i love her and her daughter i would stop cutting so to get through the pain i watch your videos to take my mind off my life and think about what others are going through so i just want to say i love your songs they have helped me so much please keep up the great work.

My cousin cuts her legs all up when her boyfriend makes her mad but they broke up yesterday and she cut her face up then she called me and I said what is wrong I know about the boyfriend argument I said then she hung up about 3 hours later she told me everything that she cuts herself and she handed my a box with a key I unlocked it and there was a knife in there she told me to help her not to cut herself now this morning she called me we talked for about a hour my phone was going died at the last minute but she said can I go to school with you I said yes you can and she got away from her ex and we both had everything mostly each other and that was are story she is still cutting herself but she is still trying to stop and I told her to listen to this song and she stoped and I told her just listen to this song and you will be ok and she said I don't need this song I need you THE END!
