Honestly, the old blades are alright, although they could improve the colors a bit, 6 is not very much. The Ahsoka Shoto could only do green or blue, but not yellowish-green and how is Disney supposed to ever make a Baylan Skoll or Shin Hati Saber if the blades can't become reddish-orange, not even regular orange. Making them red would be pretty cheap. But another question: Why didn't you show the belt clips as they are supposed to be used?😂😂😂 The horizontal clip goes on the back of the belt to hold the hilt, the vertical clip goes on the left (or right if you prefer right) hip to hold the unscrewed emitter. All these clips are for is to be able to wear Kanan's Lightsaber like he did in Rebels Seasons 1-2. Otherwise a D-Ring Clip would have been enough.

The reason it comes with two belt clips is because the one is supposed to hold the emitter and the others but all the rest of it kind of like how Kanan Jarris has his light saber attached to him in the show. The one with two clips is for the side to hold the emitter, call the one on the back of your belt and hold the rest of it because when you first see him use his light saber, he has to put it together and then he ignites it.
A young Kanan is in episode 1 of The Bad Batch. He is with his master and clones and the Bad Batch then Order 66 comes over the comes and his master is killed. Cross hair is the only one of the bad batch crew says they have to follow orders but Hunter tries to help Kanan but Cross hair messes it up. That's why he changed his name and carried his lightsaber in 2 parts for a long time. But as they are saving Wookie slaves he has to "let everyone in on the secret" as he says to Ezra as he puts his lightsaber together and ignites it in front of stormtroopers and Agent Kallas.
I'm pretty sure the two belt clips are given with the hilt to recreate the way Kanan stores his Saber on his belt. The main handle uses the horizontal clip on the backside of the belt and the emitter peice uses the vertical clip to use on the side of your belt. Kanan does this so that it doesn't stand out when hiding in plan site. So 2 belt clips for each piece of the hilt.
For Kanan to be less conspicuous, he would wear his hilt and emitter separately around his waist. So the clips are not meant to attach the full saber, rather each of the pieces individually so he can connect them for an awesome reveal!!
The hilt and emitter are meant to be worn seperately, so this is a plus that they actually made the emitter detachable than having it just as a single plug and play saber. I thinkmfrom Season 3 onwards after going blind does he wear the saber in full

I’m so glad they decided to do the Kanan Jarrus version instead of the Caleb Dume version. The only difference is the logo on the box and the splitting feature with two belt clips, but I’m still glad. I’m also very happy they used the original twist-in blades, I’m not a fan of the new screw-in blades.
Disconnect the emitter and wear it vertically on your side, and wear the hilt horizontal on your back. Thanks for your videos finding the force, your the reason I bought my galaxy's edge lightsaber. I think it includes both so you could hold both pieces like Kanan does on his belt. The extra step of having to remove the emitter I think is a way to help explain that.
Depa is Kanan/Caleb’s master To be honest, the list overall is pretty good, Bariss would be awesome, mainly because I think she’s a good character, but unless you watch the animated shows, I can definitely see the most people wouldn’t be interested in all of those characters with the exception of maybe Jacosta. The reason why the emitter comes off is because Kanan never had his full saber out in the open.
3:15 Syfo Dias was an important figure for the Clone Wars Arc. He was also the best friend of Count Dooku since they were children within the Jedi Order.
Depa Bilaba was Kanan Jarus Master when he was a padawan known as Caleb Dume. Disney really did a nice job on that saber. It looks great. I believe the finish is called Satin Chrome , instead of polished chrome. Really nicely done. How's the thickness? That Qui Gon I got was surprising. Keep up the good work. Kinda adding as I watch. The Ben Solo came with a belt clip also.
Great video! I think the finish is a brushed chrome, or brushed nickel, or even Satin chrome. They kind of all mean the same, lol. It looks really great, but still so huge! I have Kanan's neopixel from Ultimate Works/Pach Store, coloring and details look really close to Disney's. Love the video's, keep 'em coming! Yoda best! 😉🤙
This one looks pretty sweet for a legacy. Are you sure the two clips aren’t meant to hold the two parts? I know it’s technically the Caleb one, but it looked to me like the made the top removable and gave you two clips so you could do the Kanan thing. Is one clip maybe for just the shroud, and the other for the base of the hilt?
@FindingTheForce Just first of all wanted to say thank you for all the time you take to make these awesome videos, you've helped me out a lot when it comes to knowing which one I want to buy. I just had a question for you and everyone else that had purchased the Kanan Jarrus lightsaber hilt. The first one I purchased, after unscrewing and screwing the emitter piece back onto the hilt, eventually the threading in the screw of the emitter got stripped, and then I was unable to unscrew the emitter from the hilt, it was just stuck in there. So I exchanged it for a new one, and sure enough, the same thing happened, the emitter got stuck in the hilt. Was just wondering if anyone else had this problem? I finally gave up and sent it back for a refund, which is a bummer because I really liked the hilt.
How many inches are taken off the blade once you put the emitter back on? I am not sure if I should get a longer blade for that reason and if so what blade size do you recommend to go with it.

Both are examples of what Jedi truly should be! I place a major part of blame on Yoda and the Jedi council for Anakin's turn to the dark side. Anakin couldn't really get advice, help, or anything because of the whole "Jedi way". Witch I think is wrong, how can anyone live and not have emotions or fall in love! Palpatine used the council's "Jedi way" to get to Anakin. Even when Anakin tried talking to Yoda all Yoda said was he needed to learn to let go. What kind of advice is that? The council and their Jedi way is wrong! That is why Kanan, Ezra, Qui-gon, Ahsoka, and some other Jedi are so much better! They fight to help people and as long as they keep their emotions in check and have support from their friends and loved ones! They are the real heros!
Plus Ezra, Kanan, Ahsoka, and other real heros/Jedi can use their emotions to help them even more. We've seen Jedi use anger to help others and they don't let it consume them. That's what the Jedi council should of taught is to not let your emotions consume them.

I would probably get one of those sheaths i've seen on some of the sites you recommend for sabers and accessories. To save the rubber on the grip. Also, i think it probably fits the style better. My opinion only

I’m so sorry that you didn’t know how Kanan carried his lightsaber. I hope you make a new video showing the saber on your back, and the emitter on the front. Also, the D ring is for carrying the saber fully assembled.
The horizontal clip holds the main hilt on your back. The vertical clip holds the emitter on your left hip. I advise looking up the character next time.
Just wondering are we allowed to wear the black Jedi robe from the park when we go through security? Is it considered a costume? I would just wear the black robe with my face and head uncovered

Great review. I wish they had the arrows on both sides of the control box like it was on Rebels. It's almost like they copied one of the existing unlicensed ones instead of looking closely at the source materials. Does anyone know why sometimes the grips are olive green and sometimes dark gray? This is at least the second one with the dark gray grips I've seen and then there's a bunch with the olive green.
No smooth swing!?!?!?!?!? DISNEY COME ON!!!!!!! if you won't do a smooth swing with the normal sabers then made a freaking a line of sabers that aren't massive and has a smooth swing for an extra $50-$70
This is a miss for me. Hate how the blade goes in, hate the smooth-on-swing, hate those belt clips. Only thing I like is the control box they did that right at least... Great video as usual though :)
It took them over a year to give us this and it doesn’t even have the new blades nor is it rechargeable (though I hear there are downsides to the rechargeable ones) I’m not even surprised by Disney anymore
I typically don't get character based hilts though I have a few that are inspired by them. If I did get a character hilt, it would get the Kanan Jarrus one. It's one of the few practical character hilts. I'd probay get the Vader's Vault one though it's $1,200. It uses a quick release coupler to attach the emitter to the hilt and uses 7/8" blade. The thinner blades used in Rebels are a throwback to the OT. Both the PT and ST used thicker blades beacuse ILM had improved the lightsaber props with sturdier blades.
Most saber Smiths have their own versions of most of the hilts already. Artsabers, Vader's Sabers, Korbanth, 89sabers/Txqsabers/CCsabers, Ultimate Works/The Pach Store, Vader's Vault, etc.... etc...
Obi-Dad , you're gonna need to redeem yourself and do a whole indepth video on just Caleb Dume. your viewers are talk'n... I'll help you get started, Caleb was technically the last trained jedi under the jedi temple prior to order 66. 😉👌 Keep up the great work hopefully run in to you again at the park on SW day. Kanan wore his saber on his belt in two pieces, the hilt on one side, the emitter on the other. Thats why there are two belt clips

I’m so sorry that you didn’t know how Kanan carried his lightsaber. I hope you make a new video showing the saber on your back, and the emitter on the front. Also, the D ring is for carrying the saber fully assembled.

The horizontal clip holds the main hilt on your back. The vertical clip holds the emitter on your left hip. I advise looking up the character next time.

Very cool Saber! Are the new Disney blades all the same in terms of thickness? I know the Yoda one was thinner than previous original Galaxy edge blades.. and this one looks to be thinner also. And what are the prices for the new style blades?

Great review. I wish they had the arrows on both sides of the control box like it was on Rebels. It's almost like they copied one of the existing unlicensed ones instead of looking closely at the source materials. Does anyone know why sometimes the grips are olive green and sometimes dark gray? This is at least the second one with the dark gray grips I've seen and then there's a bunch with the olive green.

No smooth swing!?!?!?!?!? DISNEY COME ON!!!!!!! if you won't do a smooth swing with the normal sabers then made a freaking a line of sabers that aren't massive and has a smooth swing for an extra $50-$70

This is a miss for me. Hate how the blade goes in, hate the smooth-on-swing, hate those belt clips. Only thing I like is the control box they did that right at least...

It took them over a year to give us this and it doesn’t even have the new blades nor is it rechargeable (though I hear there are downsides to the rechargeable ones) I’m not even surprised by Disney anymore
I typically don't get character based hilts though I have a few that are inspired by them. If I did get a character hilt, it would get the Kanan Jarrus one. It's one of the few practical character hilts.
I'd probay get the Vader's Vault one though it's $1,200. It uses a quick release coupler to attach the emitter to the hilt and uses 7/8" blade. The thinner blades used in Rebels are a throwback to the OT. Both the PT and ST used thicker blades beacuse ILM had improved the lightsaber props with sturdier blades.

The reason you have to unscrew the emitter is because it was in 2 pieces in the show. They kept the aesthetic. Still looks too chunky for me though.

There are a bunch of versions out there now.
Most saber Smiths have their own versions of most of the hilts already. Artsabers, Vader's Sabers, Korbanth, 89sabers/Txqsabers/CCsabers, Ultimate Works/The Pach Store, Vader's Vault, etc.... etc...
