Hi I am trying to connect my Windows PC with phones for WiFi transfer of files using FTP. I have FileZilla Client set on my PC and FTPManager on my iPhone. I do not know how to connect both devices to transfer files to and fro. PS: Both the devices are on same network and I intend to use it that way and not remotely.
That was the best video I have seen so far. I'm getting a bit older now so I struggle with some of the terms I was using Core FTLite - but thought I try Filezilla as that is what my host seems to prefer
I have a question. Im downloading stuff from someone off FTP. Its a large 8tb set of files. I only have 8 tb of space also. I dragged the same set of files to my location twice because i wasn't sure if it worked the first time. Will the software think I'm downloading it twice or will it just overwrite files that are duplicate? Second question, is there a way to re-queue the files that fail to transfer?
@1:25, you made something appear, would of been a good idea to mentioned how you got there, I have no idea what I am doing. I recommend explaining like your speaking to a fifth grader so everyone can understand, we are not all engineer minds so none of this is common sense. I work for a very large company that uses a lot of "compliance" and that's the way the make tutorials and have gotten amazing feedback, just saying.
it could be the upload speed of the host throttling you. Especially if the host is another home internet connection. If it is from a cloud service, that is weird.
Your English is very clear (I am English) I do wish you had not connected to your local ftp just a host, as that is what I am sure most beginners would want to do. I am going to make some notes With all of these things they keep asking for username - what is your username And Passwords - so many passwords - do they really matter Sorry to be a pain

Actually I'm having problem with downloading my files from it When I right-click any file in the FTP Server side it shows Download button but that button is gray I mean it's just a button no functionality works with it! I just found this Apps, Can it move files? Like Copy&Paste from OneDrive > Google Drive or other Drive?
Yeah it does but for this you've to download their extended version. I don't have an idea but maybe it's paid

You should find it in the root folder of the FileZilla installed package
If I log into a ftp server to download files to my local drives can the server see my drives and look at my files?
in the left pane it only shows local folders, how do you map files on a nas drive?

how to solve filezilla client cannot connect to server . 430 Invalid Username, but the username and password is correct.
Im having like 3 mb of donwload but i have 200 mb of internet. is that speed wrong? i cant have more speed
