    Excellent video, when calculating the weight with the additive how would you determine the amount if dissolving 14kt? Apposed to dissolving 24kt

      @shorinternational3841  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Weight is calculated based upon total weight of metal, not just gold content. Non-metals, however, are not used in the calculations.

      @@kaiserkabir1241 Im thinking about buying this and the silver system but havnt seen any reviews or videos of people using this but that could come down to people not knowing, everybody on youtube has access to acids and safe work spaces. I will be calling soon to talk to someone about ordering.

      TylerThaGamer I have spoke to the tech team already. I have platinum group metal Alloys to refine I asked for a demo before I buy but unfortunately they don’t provide a service. So I’m not too sure about the system in case it don’t work on my material. Let me know how you get on please.

    We have mining mud of gold can we use this things to refine gold ore

    • @shorinternational3841

      If by mining mud you mean material like black sands, then absolutely yes. You can refine just about any material, but it's a matter of economics. If the gold content is very low, a fraction of 1% for example, it is likely uneconomical.

      Shor International has been in business since 1918. It is generally considered the most reputable company in the jeweler's supply business. However, if you are concerned that the process doesn't work, you can put together a refining system yourself. Here is a video for that- th-cam.com/video/t0lTUmoSCMc/w-d-xo.html

      The phrasing of your question is somewhat choppy and incomplete, but I will try to address it. You want to know how to refine material obtained from the earth, yes? The most important thing is to expose the gold. Metal that is microencapsulated in quartz will never dissolve until it is exposed. To do this, it is vital to crush it to a very fine powder, like powdered sugar. Once this has been accomplished, you can refine it by the normal aqua regia technique.

      @@blaniardmarshall8924 ..okay .. 👍👍..so .if i Use a normal method of Aqua rejia...it Will form precious metal deposit..if SMB is used..and usually Most white deposits...Aqua rejia techniques..how to get black . brown..gold precipitate..🙏🙏

      The white may be one of 3 things- silver chloride, copper hydroxide or undissolved chemical. Silver doesn't dissolve. It converts to a white, insoluble salt called silver chloride. Prior to precipitation, it is vital to filter or decant the solution. For a pure result, the solution must be without any cloudiness at this point. If the dissolved copper percentage is significant and water is added at this point, or if water is used for the first rinse, then copper hydroxide may form. Copper hydroxide is a white sticky substance that will coat the precipitated gold and give it a white appearance. A rinse with ammonium hydroxide will dissolve the copper hydroxide but it is much preferable to simply avoid creating it. Lastly, if you have undissolved chemical, rinsing will dissolve and remove this.
      With regard to using smb- this is probably the worst selective precipitant you can use. It precipitates very tiny particles, so almost all users inadvertantly lose 3-5% of their gold because unseen particles pass through filter paper or are lost in the decant. Additionally, it is very unpleasant to use so the filtering or decanting process is hurried and even more gold is lost. Try using ferrous sulfate. Ferrous sulfate will precipitate large heavy particles and is odorless. It has a limited shelf life so you should refrigerate it when storing.
