In this video, I’ll give you an overview of the bag, the wear and tear of it, what fits inside, MOD shots, as well as my opinion on whether or not I still think it’s worth the retail price of $11,170 AUD in 2021.

Enjoyed this video and your honest advice. I’ve been wanting a Chanel classic flap for 8 years, so annoyed that I didn’t buy it before it doubled in price! I’m 34 now, I think I will be able to buy it in a few years fingers crossed. Even though it is insanely priced, it’s a bucket list item for me so I will buy it.
It is a shame how much the price of it has gone up but if it’s been your dream bag for a long time, it’ll definitely be worth it when you finally get it 🥰 thank you for sharing 💕

This was a great review! This was my dream bag but I don’t think I can justify 11k. I’ve been eyeing off the pre loved market but also finding they’re still super expensive through consignment stores. I’m actually loving the coco top handle so once we’re out of lockdown I’m going to go to Chanel store and consider other styles too :)

I called 10 stores in the US tonight for this bag. I finally found it in Michigan. I called the 800 number for Chanel she said it was too in demand she couldn’t help me lol. Real nice

Love how informative and thorough your videos are! Your CF is still in pristine condition even after four years! I was curious - was the bottom of your lining inside the bag puffy (with an air pocket) when you first purchased it? And if so, it seems to have flattened and become flush with use! I've been reading that a lot of newer CFs have puffy lining at the bottom of the bags these days.
Thank you so much! 🥰 hmm I don’t recall it having a puffy base 🤔 but it has been a few years! It may be something Chanel has introduced recently as I know my cousin who purchased the Chanel Trendy about a year ago mentioned that her bag has a puffy base.
I sold my small class flap then bought the medium size one. Medium size it’s a prefect size for this bag. Love love love love this bag so much.

The medium is definitely more versatile as you can fit more and the size and price is not that much of a difference so I always recommend the medium ☺️ thank you! It’s from Portmans but I got it a while ago so not sure if they still have it. I love it too! 🥰
The Medium is the perfect size imo! I agree, with Chanel price increases it is not worth making yourself in debt when it can be used for a house deposit or secondhand car.

I bought this same bag on December 2018 after wearing it only once I noticed that same button was cracked, I was so upset because the bag was brand new. Took it to Chanel they fixed it for free it also took like 4 weeks to repair.
Thank you for sharing! I’m glad it wasn’t just my bag and I wasn’t somehow using it wrong! A subbie mentioned that Chanel has a 5 year warranty so I might take mine back to the boutique to fix while I still can🤞🏻

Hey there! It’s about a 40cm strap drop. I’m about 163cm tall and it hits me around my waist when worn on the shoulder with one strap. I hope that helps ☺️
Beautiful handbag but 11k is just too much. I purchased my one and only Chanel handbag last year. The Coco handle small in blackout. I saved a long time for that handbag. My family thought I was nuts to spend $4500 on a handbag. I love my handbag and it makes me happy. Will I do it again? I don't think so the handbag has to grab me like my Coco handle.

My dear , I got my Chanel medium from Fashionfile , I think BIG MISTAKE, it could be brand new from Retail
I agree , I sell mine back, I lost lot of money , no regrets, I really felt very anxious because fake bags , I don’t trust in any , any preloved sites , any authentication services, none of them.
when I was young I loved Chanel n LV n Hermes,I have owned 20 chanel bags n 10 LV n two Hermes,one day I sat on the sofa,I suddenly just felt so regret n I felt so stupid,Becos I just didn’t understand why paid so much money for those bag,n for what???vanity???????However in last 10 years I have sold all my bags on eBay,honestly I felt so released after sold them,now I carry 25 pounds leather bags(unbrand) everyday,n I feel very comfortable with 25 pounds leather bag!

I think I may have just missed the boat on the 5 year warranty 🙁 I just contacted the Chanel advisor team and they said it is only a 2 year warranty from when I purchased it back in 2016 and that I will most likely have to pay to get it repaired now 😩

After price increase Chanel’s classic bag in medium size costs 8800 USD not 11K
It increased to $11k here in Australia. But now it’s over $13k aud 🥲

The chain strap is just not comfortable it hurts my shoulder…
Aw no 😩 I haven’t had that issue. But maybe you could try wearing a jumper to soften it a little? Or maybe the mini sizes will be better as they won’t be as heavy!
