    It’s not just about what’s more effective it’s also what is more affordable to the common people who don’t have access to paying for extras like this. Something is better than nothing at all! I use the glamory micro needling system at home & it leaves my skin glowing & has evened out my skin tone, reduced the appearance of tiny wrinkles as that’s all I’ve got at the moment. I’ve seen all of this even after 1 use. I can’t deny how well it works for me & many others :) glad to have the options!

    After watching Penn Smith’s many videos on home microneedling I bought the Dr Pen A7 pen with 12-needle cartridges. I like that I can adjust the depth and add only the products I want to my sensitive, reactive rosacea skin.
    I pretty much use only hyaluronic acid from Timeless and a tiny bit of Vaseline for comfort afterward. Well I’ve done it a dozen times now, 6 weeks apart, and I find it easy, safe and highly effective. Best yet, with what I save by doing this myself, I pay for Botox which I could never do myself. 😮 Thank you for showing us the Cure option!

    YAY- thank you for covering microneedling! I haven't used the Qure one, but I like the one I have because it is adjustable between 0mm to 2mm. I have only used mine a couple of times and absolutely love it. It has already made a difference more than any other devices I have used.

      @unhingedparallel9881 I have a korabeauticals v2 one, it is different to the one Maren is using. It is powered and the needles move in and out as you pass it over your skin. it can be set from 0 to 2mm. There's other brands too which do this. It is good because you can adjust it for different parts of the face. I only use up to 1mm, and only .25mm in more sensitive areas.

    Penn Smith gives very in depth advice for those who have Rosacea, Melasma or other conditions that may be contraindicated. I would check out her TH-cam channel if anyone is interested in doing this at home. She does demonstrations using a pen as well as a derma roller.

    I actually bought an electric microneedling pen online 6 months ago. It's a lot cheaper than Qure. The company provides 20 sterile, one time use needles and the option to buy more when you run out. I can also control the depth on the needle for various areas on my face. The depth range can go from 0.25 mm up to 2.5 mm. Although I have not been brave enough to go beyond 1.0 mm, but don't feel the need to go deeper than that anyway. I like the idea of an electric microneedling pen better than a manual too. It's faster and easier to use. But probably requires more skill than the Qure. Nothing you can't learn on youtube though! :) Penn Smith is my favorite.

    • @sharonalbanese8084
      @sharonalbanese8084 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      I totally agree, based on the fact that the Qure one is only a single depth, I don't see how that optimises the use of the device. I love my device and also have only gone up to 1mm. i think I would need a numbing cream if I wanted to go deeper. Ouch!

    • @convenienceandpracticality9032
      @convenienceandpracticality9032 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@sharonalbanese8084 Yep, I don't like that Qure only has one depth and I don't want to be the one to push it into my skin. I want the pen to do that for me. I always use a numbing cream though. I'm a big baby. My cheeks and chin are easy but my forehead and nose - ouch! Even with numbing cream at 0.25 mm it's pretty spicy!

    Once I tried micro-needling in the aesthetic clinic and paid 400 Canadian dollars only for the face, not the neck, and decollate, I decided to buy a Dr.Pen M8, and it was the best decision I could make for my skin. My dermatologist told me that a monkey (no offense to monkeys out there) can use a micro-needling pen. I'm doing microneedling sessions every 4 to 6 weeks, and it's so easy and great. The results are amazing, and I can spend as much time on my neck and decollate as I want. The variety of needles is great, from nano to 42 needles. The safety protocol is a no-brainer.

      @mimi_to hi,
      1. wash off any makeup and skincare.
      2. sanitize microneedling cartridge by deeping it about 10 min in 70% alcohol.
      3. Sanitize your face ( 70 % alcohol), put 5% lidocaine numbing cream on ,for about 30 min.
      I microneedle without numbing cream now. It's painful, especially on my forehead and around the nose, but it makes microneedling process faster,I hate to wait until cream works.( don't forget to remove lidocaine cream before microneedling, can use cloth deeped in water and sanitize again).
      4. Microneedle with hyaluronic serum, gel form works better, more manageable, any company will work,fragrance free hyaluronic gel serum.
      5. Usually, I don't wash off ,blood, and serum after microneedling, at least for a few hours .
      After a few hours, I wash my face ,neck, and decolte with room temperature, but previously boiled water, I'm afraid of contaminating wounds, and that's why I don't use tap water .
      Red Light therapy works great after that,
      As a final step, I put my favorite eye cream ( Neutrogena Peptide fragrance free)and some light peptide face cream .

      They say the rolling kind damages the skin. Like, it causes tears instead of microchannels. You need the kind that just goes straight in and straight out. Also you should avoid sun exposure for 5 days afterwards or make sure to wear high spf. Water and nutrients help too. Try watching Penn Smith here on youtube. She has great info on microneedling.

    Are the deeper needles significantly more effective for collagen production?

    • @qureskincare
      @qureskincare 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Megan! With a 0.5mm length, our needle heads are specifically designed for “epidermal-needling” which improves the absorption of skincare ingredients and enhances skin texture.
      This needle length is designed to penetrate the epidermis (the outermost layer of the skin) and is less invasive with a shorter recovery time so you can enjoy the benefits of microneedling without the downtime.
      With its precisely crafted 0.5mm needle heads, our Micro-Infusion system offers the perfect balance between effectiveness and comfort.

      Qure's Micro-Infusion has 2 serums to choose from depending on your skin concern. We have the Rejuvenating serum - it reveals a smoother, evenly radiant complexion, generating a glow effect. Collagen-stimulating, dark spot brightening, and wrinkle-combatting properties restores youthful skin.
      While the Hydra-Soothing serum effectively plumps up fine lines, reduces redness, boosts and protects the skin barrier for healthy, supple skin. 🤍

    I must be a big baby because I just tried Qure two days ago and I thought it hurt. It’s funny I’ve watched several videos on microneedling and only one influencer, PenSmith, gave an actual numbing cream that she uses. Everybody else seems to say that you don’t need any sort of numbing cream with Qure, I do not agree.
    The fact that every dermatologist I watch is doing a video about Qure and they’re all paid promotions, I find that a little suspect. I am not saying they don’t like the product, but like anything else money talks. 🤔
