Here is my vlog from the Christmas in Cambodia Fundraiser event that happened this past November in Honolulu, HI!
The Welcome Dance opens the atmosphere with rhythmic movements and contemporary musicality for guests on special occasions like this one. Throughout the piece, dancers carry both Cambodian and American flags as a cultural significance and a symbol of our multicultural identities. This dance represents togetherness, peace, and pride. Most of these kids were born here on the island but share different cultural identities other than Khmer, such as Japanese, Filipino, Chinese, and American.
