Not really into dark, moody style for residential but after watching this i think I'm starting to love this style. Very clean, seamless, dark yet cozy. I'm inlove with this

I honestly don't know what I like more, the main bathroom door that opens both ways, the rim-less windows with the clear "handles', the hidden slide out storage, I am definitely more of a light and bright kinda person but the dark moodiness really suits this home!

Gorgeous. It's a really nice play on "Don't judge a book by its cover" based on the facade. Absolutely brilliant!

Also, I love how no matter what a house cost to build, $100K.....$500K.....$1M....whatever?
They are always happy to include a cheap as chips set of IKEA drawers somewhere in the building!
On this occasion being the master bedroom. You've gotta love em!

I don't see why there's so much praise for putting the outlets on the top of the sink area. When you plug something in, it'll be a hassle. Both to find the outlet and align the plug and once you have something in there, the cable is going to be an even bigger eyesore than if it was along one of the sides. Best to just make it blend in with the color.

Are all these narrow houses protected? Every remodel seems to work with the existing facade and basic original building. Is every house in every neighborhood considered "heritage", and has to be preserved? The entry hallways are almost always very long, windowless, and narrow.

How do houses like that deal with bugs? I mean double sliding door and no protection? Is there a hidden feature or something?
