*imagines myself dancing in the arms of a handsome duke (who is my slightly estranged husband) and the rain pours down, ruining everything and nothing as I realise I must tell him how much I love him before our estrangement gets worse. I do and he has the odd slight smile on his face when I tell him love is a choice and I choose him. I choose all of him, even the parts of himself he hates. All will be well with a dance, rain, a smile and a choice*

I love how not a single person realized this comment is just referring to the scene from Bridgerton season 1 where spring 1 was used as the sound track😂

I like Richter very much, especially for his soundtracks .... but No ! Vivaldi doesn’t deserve this ...

disagree. I think it is a great modernisation. I hope Vivaldi would be impressed. I hope the musicians who toured with it would have also earned Vivaldi's respect

@@tangledude of course Richter and his musicians definitely earn respect ! But you know I’ve been listen to classical music and especially Vivaldi for more than 35 years .... and maybe I just can’t be partial 😁

Max Richter did this because of how much he loved Vivaldi's work. This opus transpires respect for the original Seasons.

Captured the spirit of it, in the endless cyclic way of nature. What Vivaldi did for enclosed souls, Richter did it for the free ones
