Wilson sisters really are something special. I could recommend Nightwish perform Ever Dream Live at Wacken 2013 . It was magic. Actually that whole Wacken gig is maybe my favourite live concert of all time.
Please forgive the intrusion..to find a duo to perform as sensational as this is quite remarkable....but ..!!!!!.. to find sisters yes sisters is a divine gift from God and his family ,it's beyond divine and I'm struggling to find words to encapsulate the pure genius of Ann and Nancy Wilson...thank you for reading my post im humbled by your exquisite taste in music.
I'm Japanese, but I've listened to Heart a lot. I went to their live show at Osakajo Hall with a friend twice. When I was in high school and when I was in college. This song was by Nancy. The perfect balance between Anne's powerful vocals and Nancy's gentle voice is captivating. The last song was rock and roll by Led Zeppelin and I couldn't help but cheer and go wild. That was my youth. It's a good memory.

I'm pleased. I like lots of music. I don't get how some music is like exclusive to certain people if it's good everybody can enjoy it at some time in their life, love is not exclusive.
It isn’t often that you hear a Live version of a song, performed by the original artists, many decades after it was recorded, that not only doesn’t sacrifice any of its Lustre, but sounds even richer.
Dan Vetor, Ann is one of a kind! Gretchen Wilson did a good job singing in honor of Heart at Rock hall of fame. Was powerful! Not as good as Ann but I enjoyed her tribute.
Well, they sorta were on the cover of their first album, but fully clad since! But you're right; their music speaks for itself! They've made some incredible music in their long career and I've been a fan since day one!
Nancy Wilson is seriously one of the most gorgeous female rockstars. I would go further to say she might be one of the top beautiful entertainers of all time
There are older interviews where they allude to their seriously sexy escapades back then. That's rather cool. It's the music industry, and those two ladies controlled their fate, very strongly, while having a bunch of awesome fun in the process. A lot of women get diminished and/or destroyed by the filth of that industry, however those two persevered. And Nancy still......😋
It's 2022.. anybody else having an eargasm everytime Nancy sings the line "every second of the night", or is it just me? 😭😂😍❤️ And that whistle at the end. 😱 My ghaaad. What an epiphany.
@@shivanshyadav6740 agree. The sound quality is amazing. But 2002 had great video quality, it wasn’t the dark ages, there were awesome cameras back then.
When you realize true artists sing better in person than in a studio. Nancy and Ann Wilson are in a class of their own. Every line they sing is an image in my mind.
I agree. I could not say it better . Hands down the best of all time. Ann and Nancy wilson. The absolute total package, and best ever. I was born in '77
I think people tend to forget that "Heart" was actually a 70's band. Their debut album "Dreamboat Annie" was released on Valentines day 1976 and was an instant success. I was 16 years old and I can still remember where I was and who I was with when I heard it for the first time. These incredibly talented women were pioneers who were responsible for the female artist's that would follow in their footsteps. Their talent gave them a foot in the door of a business that was male dominated. That same talent allowed them to get a firm foot hold as well as staying power. I saw them perform live about a year after their debut album was released. I will never forget when they began their performance, at first the audience sat in stunned silence. These ladies were a powerhouse and commanded that stage and our attention. It was a seldom seen sight back in those days and one that left a huge impression on those who were there to experience it. Simply amazing talent!!
I was born in 76' so I grew up listening to their 80s hits and loved those. I really am not familiar with their 70s music at all. I just attended their concert in Tulsa, OK on 5/4/24 and it does seem they have more of an affection for their 70s songs. I was disappointed that they didn't perform my favorite song - Alone in its entirety. However, I will say they are amazing vocalists and the real deal. Just classy and authentic. They were gorgeous in the 80s. You were so lucky to see them in their prime in the 70s. ❤ Regardless, beautiful ladies inside and out.
@@johnleidorf2280 I'm not sure where you live or if you had one, but do you remember "Tower Records"? They were the "Powerhouse" of retail sales of albums. If you wanted an album, go to Tower Records. They even got into the sales of concert tickets, which is where I bought most of mine during the 70's. But you had to leave your home and purchase them in person. Same with the albums. You had to make an actual physical effort to get those things and you didn't think twice about it. Long lines.....no problem. Not to insult them, but can you imagine young people doing that today? There is much to be said for the extra appreciation one receives from actually putting in the effort to get that which one wishes to have. Call me silly!
@@SX-sv6vo They only sang part of the song "Alone"? That's pretty odd. That's one of their most popular songs. And these ladies were BIG. And THAT is a great song!! As music goes, things were so much different back in the 70's. Music was changing. The "Doo-Wop music of the 50's was gone and the Rock as we know today, was being created. New bands were coming out of the woodwork and they were GREAT bands. Concerts were $2.50 - $5.00 and if you lived in a big city (which I did) there was always a few in town. We didn't realize at the time just how fortunate we were to witness this dramatic change of music because we were in it. We were living it. But we became fully aware of it. And of all the Billions of people who have come and gone, I considered it to be a great gift to have been alive and breathing to see it happen. We had such a great time.....and it wasn't just the music. It was the people! Apologies for the lengthy reply. I get a thought and I'm off running. I gave up editing myself long ago. LOL Take care.
Pessoal, obrigado por enriquecer o vídeo com seus comentários. Sou do Brasil e nasci no final dos anos 70. I write this with tears in my eyes as this was the song my mom used to sing to me sleep every night when I was young. I love you mom forever and always ♥️
I'm in tears. This song is the most beautiful song ever. Nancy and Ann Wilson invented rock n' roll for women and just took it to a level that will probably never be reached again. I'm amazed, this is better than the original. Their vocals blend magnificently and they're both so beautiful. God had a plan, Ann and Nancy Wilson are messengers - kimie
You catch me at the wrong time of the day or night and I would be in tears too my man. Had an unsettling dream 2 days ago in the middle of the night and I woke up and watched the original video. Something in the Earth's atmosphere meshed together when this song was originally recorded AND during this performance. I could go on and on...
This is by far the best rendition of their song ever recorded. The original recording was not bad, but this is just so much better. And Nancy was 48 when this was filmed. All those years her voice was refining itself. And what a song at that.
This is definitely the best rendition of this song I've heard. Album version seemed 'radio friendly' & easily dismissive. This live version highlighted clarity, harmony & pure emotion.
I love this version more than their earlier work. I am amazed that their voices are so perfect. Most singers lose the purness of their voice as they mature, but if anything, they've gotten better.
Nancy is so good she could front her own band and be a star. But she’s got her sister with a once in a generation level vocal ability, you put them together and…well, they’re in the Hall of Fame for a reason.
@@horspla2000 Its all throughout but some of the most noticeable parts are at on the word me at 0:32 , the word dreams at 0:50 , the phrase darkness on the edge at 0:56 , i want to see you clearly at 1:06 , and the chorus the word eyes at 1:25 , and you can hear the warbles on most of the vibrato. Just a few of the examples tho.

These two sisters makes me wonder if we will ever hear rock like this again. It is pure magic! Unbeatable brilliance!
Lucuna coil was good but heart is better
The original men in the lineup were pretty amazing as well and NEVER get the credit they deserve.
Yes. Check out First Aid Kit
These memories are the "dreams" of our youth. You were blessed. We are blessed ... to have so, so much musical richness to accompany us every day of our life. The good old days indeed! Your post is beautiful ... thank you for sharing!
I'm pleased. I like lots of music. I don't get how some music is like exclusive to certain people if it's good everybody can enjoy it at some time in their life, love is not exclusive.
❤❤❤
Thank you for your reply. I'm thrilled to share this with you lovely people.
It isn’t often that you hear a Live version of a song, performed by the original artists, many decades after it was recorded, that not only doesn’t sacrifice any of its Lustre, but sounds even richer.
Which album is this song on?
Really well worded. I totally agree.
A great song matures with the musical genius of the band-- these two sisters' performances are legendary!
Absolutely Amazing! Juliane, you hit that right on. That has to be rereleased, just how it is.
@@broncodaddy46507 Simply called "Heart" released in 1985
These ladies never had to be half naked to sell records. Never be another female duo like them. Name another female artist with a voice like Ann's
Dan Vetor, Ann is one of a kind! Gretchen Wilson did a good job singing in honor of Heart at Rock hall of fame. Was powerful! Not as good as Ann but I enjoyed her tribute.
You are so Right!
Amen to that.
Well, they sorta were on the cover of their first album, but fully clad since! But you're right; their music speaks for itself! They've made some incredible music in their long career and I've been a fan since day one!
Except on the first record.
Nancy Wilson is seriously one of the most gorgeous female rockstars. I would go further to say she might be one of the top beautiful entertainers of all time
Gotta agree with you.
She f'd me up in a good way for around 45 yrs.
Which is why I'm still here. 😅😅😅
And Nancy still......😋
I believe they share the first place with the Abba´s Blonde and the brunette ! :)
Nancy so talented, gifted, highly intelligent; & her beauty is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! BREATH-TAKING!! No one else comes close!

This 70,s band is truly amazing...
Bought that on vinyl the day it was released. Stood in line. Would have stood for days if needed.
LOL
Take care.
This is by far the best rendition of their song ever recorded. The original recording was not bad, but this is just so much better. And Nancy was 48 when this was filmed. All those years her voice was refining itself. And what a song at that.
