Super Crush since the 1970's. Beautiful Voice an Face,
She has been a smoke show for a generation
Beautiful classy lady!
Nancy is not given enough acknowledgment for how beautiful she sings. These two women are among the best out there. Vocal champions!
She absolutely could have fronted a band, herself, but Ann has that POWER, that nobody could be expected to have. Love that they shared the stage so much though!
Absolutely agree 💯 % Nancy has a beautiful soothing voice! Absolutely stunning performance of my favourite song in the world! These sisters are in a league of their own!
I fully agree
Agree!
I agree
The vibrato and inflections in Nancy's voice make this more enchanting the original. These sisters are simply perfection.
Whoever was around when this gorgeous song was released, consider yourselves among the luckiest of all.
Would’ve loved to be an adult during the 80s/90s sounds like such an iconic time period to hear such legendary songs like this one!
Oh yes. ❤
Well in late 1990 about 5 years after it was released I was in my late 20's. I bought my first brand new car and it had a GREAT, premium factory sound system in it. Damn near wore this CASSETTE out cuz it sounded SO freakin awesome with these ladies cranking out of the speakers! Yeah... 😊
80s forever!
Absolutely, these amazing sisters are legendary and both of them have insanely gorgeous voices but this song is my favourite of all time❤
Nancy is very underrated as a singer and guitar player. Phenomenal talent.
Actually Heart was huge In late 80’s and 90’s even In Europe ❤️
Yes, Heart was huge in the 80s and 90s. Also pretty big in the 70s! I was noting that Nancy Wilson is a very underrated singer and guitar player and phenomenal talent.

This is the greatest ever live version of These Dreams. And Nancy… 🤩😍🥰
💯 % agree, this is the best I've ever heard Nancy sing! Means so much to me and it's so lovely to see there are so many who think this is insanely amazing!
That's because it's a backing track. You can clearly see Nancy isnt singing everything between 2:26-3:06. Sorry 😞

No fancy bullshit, no back up , no special effects.......just the pure skill of these ladies.....leaves me in awe....
Yep - that’s true talent - most voices get weaker but theirs still sound powerful.
No plastic surgery either!

Nothing like the music of the 80s.
The Drummer on this song really welds the whole thing together, it's a perfect job.

NOT up for discussion. THIS is the absolute BEST live version of this song, Ever. :)
i agree. The way they sang this in a softer tone and mellowing down a bit the "rock" tone in most parts really highlighted the true message of the song. Made the song more beautiful and "dreamy" than before as the way i've always thought it should be.
Yeah, ive been coming back to this live version for years now.
I absolutely love this version. I watch it every time it shows up as a suggestion, which is often. One thing that makes me laugh, is when Ann does the hand gesture, makes me think back to my Italian parents and grandparents. LoL

I think people tend to forget that "Heart" was actually a 70's band. Their debut album "Dreamboat Annie" was released on Valentines day 1976 and was an instant success. I was 16 years old and I can still remember where I was and who I was with when I heard it for the first time. These incredibly talented women were pioneers who were responsible for the female artist's that would follow in their footsteps. Their talent gave them a foot in the door of a business that was male dominated. That same talent allowed them to get a firm foot hold as well as staying power. I saw them perform live about a year after their debut album was released. I will never forget when they began their performance, at first the audience sat in stunned silence. These ladies were a powerhouse and commanded that stage and our attention. It was a seldom seen sight back in those days and one that left a huge impression on those who were there to experience it. Simply amazing talent!!
I was born in 76' so I grew up listening to their 80s hits and loved those. I really am not familiar with their 70s music at all. I just attended their concert in Tulsa, OK on 5/4/24 and it does seem they have more of an affection for their 70s songs. I was disappointed that they didn't perform my favorite song - Alone in its entirety. However, I will say they are amazing vocalists and the real deal. Just classy and authentic. They were gorgeous in the 80s. You were so lucky to see them in their prime in the 70s. ❤ Regardless, beautiful ladies inside and out.
Bought that on vinyl the day it was released. Stood in line. Would have stood for days if needed.
@@johnleidorf2280 I'm not sure where you live or if you had one, but do you remember "Tower Records"? They were the "Powerhouse" of retail sales of albums. If you wanted an album, go to Tower Records. They even got into the sales of concert tickets, which is where I bought most of mine during the 70's. But you had to leave your home and purchase them in person. Same with the albums. You had to make an actual physical effort to get those things and you didn't think twice about it. Long lines.....no problem. Not to insult them, but can you imagine young people doing that today? There is much to be said for the extra appreciation one receives from actually putting in the effort to get that which one wishes to have. Call me silly!
@@SX-sv6vo They only sang part of the song "Alone"? That's pretty odd. That's one of their most popular songs. And these ladies were BIG. And THAT is a great song!! As music goes, things were so much different back in the 70's. Music was changing. The "Doo-Wop music of the 50's was gone and the Rock as we know today, was being created. New bands were coming out of the woodwork and they were GREAT bands. Concerts were $2.50 - $5.00 and if you lived in a big city (which I did) there was always a few in town. We didn't realize at the time just how fortunate we were to witness this dramatic change of music because we were in it. We were living it. But we became fully aware of it. And of all the Billions of people who have come and gone, I considered it to be a great gift to have been alive and breathing to see it happen. We had such a great time.....and it wasn't just the music. It was the people! Apologies for the lengthy reply. I get a thought and I'm off running. I gave up editing myself long ago. LOL
Take care.
Nancy's vibrato is so perfect on this rendition. Her years of experience since recording the studio version makes it such a much more rich song.

The creative age
I don't know about that ... the 80s was my time, junior high, high school, college and finally the start of my career right at the tail end of the decade. There was a lot of garbage music getting airplay in the 80s too and many of us at the time preferred music from the late 60s through the 70s. It's really only the good music from that era that you hear now ... and it is interesting to see what continues to get airplay and the popular music from then that has seemed to drop off the face of the planet.

If you are referring to the original recording, Nancy’s voice was scratchy due to a cold or sore throat during recording time, but the producer liked it, and had her sing with the scratchy voice, due to cold or sore throat.
That is why she sounds so different here rather than the recording!

@Manuel Ester It's heavily auto-tuned
@msss Davv Totally. I'm not much of a fan, haven't seen them in a while. But when they were younger, I always thought Ann was hotter. But Nancy has aged much better, she looks amazing. Not that Ann is aging badly, she's not. She just kind of looks much more wholesome, like the middle-aged woman next door. I like her outfit though, really suits her. Some older stars make really bad choices in this department, when I think of Kim Wilde squeezing her pounds into a much too tight leather outfit...
you're totally right! James Taylor has it too.

Nancy Wilson just killed this. She’s an amazing singer. I always thought she is every bit as good as Ann. She always gave Ann the credit. She is an amazing woman. They both were great rock women. She’s still a beautiful beautiful woman. I really like her casual look in this video.

As good as Ann Wilson? Well, no, Ann is on a level on her own but Nancy is clearly a talented singer and an excellent guitarist. Her singing, in harmony with Ann, was a huge part of their hits from the very beginning. I always had a thing for Nancy, lol.
And a beautiful guitar player
I'm from the future and listening in 2024, and this version is still the best!
70 here and indeed this is the most heavenly version I've ever had the privilege to behold. Thank you Heart!!

It's just superb
Nancy sounds absolutely flawless!!!
Just heard the original while driving - I think this live, decades later song is even better! Great job to all.
I totally agree with you their as well,. Because I was thinking the same as you. They sing the song Just as good in the 80's.
Chills everytime I hear your performances. Just total icons of my youth.
Nancys voice simply melts my heart. She could sing me to sleep every night and I would be the happiest guy on earth.
Tone it down Rudolph.
