    Does anyone know:Which one is harder between The Fortress and Mount Temple. Finished The Fortress this year, considering going to the Mount Temple next year.

      ... The Fortress is longer however there are more technical aspects to Temple which make it more difficult. Temple is also very weather dependent.

    Hi Harlan ...Can I ask you .. which route is your dangerous one from many of them in Rockies , what I saw ..watching your I believed is very scary Mt' Niblock..!? I like to see this video! Ok! This is very good scramble too..

    • @HarlanFox--Scrambles
      @HarlanFox--Scrambles  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tony sterl Hey Tony. I would say likely Lady Mcdonald would likely be the "scariest" only due to the summit ridge you have to cross. Niblock actually wasn't scary just a whole lot of scrambly fun!

    Hey Harlan, I just did Lougheed #2 in the summer. Is this a tougher grind or the same?

    • @HarlanFox--Scrambles
      @HarlanFox--Scrambles  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      .. Well I enjoyed Lougheed much more. I didn't enjoy Fortress as much as I thought I would. The grind up to the col was really bad. Still never a bad day in the mountains. Do the loop with headwall lakes. Cheers!

    Great video! I was inspired by this video to take on the fortress with a buddy on our trip through Alberta, and I'm very glad I did! Beautiful hike for sure (that col was certainly a challenge). I love your channel, keep up the good work! I need to find another good peak to bag next time I'm up in your neck of the woods! Cheers!

    Harlan, Do you think that this trail would be clear to hike by the end of June?

    • @HarlanFox--Scrambles
      @HarlanFox--Scrambles  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would think it should be all good to go by then as long as we dont get a really late snowfall.

      @HarlanFox--Scrambles  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      June should be good however year to year things can really change.

    Fantastic video!! There are so many gorgeous hikes to do around Canmore! I have done Ha Ling so far this year and I am planning to do Three Sisters and Mount Yamnuska soon!

      Well enjoy the mountains when you come and thanks for watching my vids! Just so you know on the drone, there are now signs in Kananaskis and Banff national Park that say no UAV's and they have been handing out fines for people flying drones. Take care and have fun in September.
