Scariest day of my life. There were 2 tornados that combined outside of sitel that made that huge one and went the other direction. It was lucky for us in the building but devastating for those on hackleburg.
I'll never get over this day.

This was when I lived in Florida at the time. But my grandparents told me about this tornado in 2014, and it passed our house but the only damage was the tree infront of our house was like in half- like I can't believe my grandparents and about everyone here survived this. I was like 3 or 4 at this time.

I just can't imagine hearing thunder in distance but getting closer then weather forecaster says there is a large, wedge tornado coming your way so get to your safe spot. Safe spots is tiny closet or bathroom.
Bad as it sounds it's a pleasant surprise how many come thru sheltering in either place.

this is a classic example of HP supercell or high pacification storm do to the train issues and high pacification 20th here in the South East are very dangerous and very hard to see, Here in the south east part of United States

High "pacification"????? WTF???? I think you're trying to say high "PRECIPITATION" storm. Which means....a lot of precip....or RAIN. Hard to see in there because of the rain.

It was a true monster, winds likely exceeding 275mph.

No this was April 28, 2014. 3 years later almost to the day. Tupelo, Mississippi was hit that day, as well as Louisville, Mississippi, about 30 miles south of Starkville. Google April 28, 2014 tornado outbreak. This day was the most tornadoes in Alabama since April 27, 2011.
