    OMG - Mind Blown! I've just colour corrected a whole load of product images shot on different days - some had a blue cast, some a yellow cast and now they're all pretty uniform. Thank you so much!

      That’s awesome! I’m so glad to hear that these techniques were able to help you out!
      Color casts can be a real pain to correct sometimes, so I’m happy to hear it worked out for you!

    This channel is so underrated. This guy retouches at a very high level! You have the best videos on retouching for affinity photo. But no one shares your videos on forums. You do a better job than Seriff themselves. They should learn from you. As for graphical some videos are good some aren’t. Just because you can do things other ways doesn’t mean you should. He does give some good information though so take it with a grain of salt.

      Thank you very much for the kind words!
      I definitely feel there is this trend toward this “Make your photos pop with this one simple trick.,” type videos. When in reality, there is never a one button fix.
      In the end you end up using the same 4 or 5 tools to do everything you need. But you have to take the time to do it right and learn the proper techniques. Where nowadays everyone want to add a filter and be done with it.
      So thank you again for your wonderful comment. Comments like these motives to keep making more and more videos!

      I’m glad to hear that! I might do another video sometime in the future, because there are a few other ways too. But these are the ones I often use.

      Awesome! I glad to hear that! Yeah color casts can sometimes be a pain to fix. Especially if you don’t have something that should be black or white to reference.

    I don't have DIVIDE as blend mode in the fill layer

    • @brgphotography
      @brgphotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Double check. It should be there. If it isn’t maybe you’re working with an older version of affinity? I’m not sure but they may have added that blend mode in later versions.
      So I would make sure you are using the most recent version. Should be 1.10.5

    Does Affinity do batch correction for a series of photo like a preset ?

    • @brgphotography
      @brgphotography  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Currently I don’t think it does. When I’m working with multiple photos, so like say I had 4 or 5 photos from this set, I just copy and paste my adjustments from one photo to all the other ones.
      I guess you could probably make a macro, that you could record and then just play that macro across all your photos. But I don’t think there is a way to batch process photos. You’d still have to manually add each adjustment or macro to each photo.

    actually the first technique works with grey values too. i tried it, correction, works in 32bit not 16 or 8bit

    • @brgphotography
      @brgphotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, that would make a lot of sense. In an ideal situation you would have a white, gray, and black area to sample from. Glad to hear that gray works out too!
