When Non Manga readers see it for the first time they think It's just Muichiro vs Kokushibo and then gets surprised to see the outcome but soon it will be Kokushibo vs Sanemi and then it becomes Gyomei vs Kokushibo and then Kokushibo vs Gyomei and Sanemi and finally Genya, Muichiro, Gyomei and Sanemi vs Kokushibo. Which is followed up by an amazing backstory. This is just too good ♥️♥️🔥🔥🔥

While reading the manga I was shocked to see that Kokushibu used Moon Breathing 3rd to 16th form (he went all out) against Gyomei and only managed to hurt him once and that was only because Gyomei changed his defense to protect Sanemi. (Otherwise, Sanemi would lose his both hands)
He literally deserves the strongest Hashira title.

Let's not forget the facts that it's a 27 year old blind normal human from some insignificant background, fighting a 300 year old and the 2nd most powerful demon from a legendary blood line.
The fact that gyomei is able to match him is crazy, initially i thought that demon slayers and even hashiras would have no chance against greater demons, looking at rengoku and uzui but this part completely changed my mind.
Plot Armor does that to hashiras. Makes them more than they actually are
He was keeping up with a considerably suppresed Kokushibo, he's a total badass, but no way he could take him on his own, especially with Koku's long sword, he's the strongest hashira in 300 years for a reason even if he wasn't nearly as blessed as Yoriichi.

Im obsessed with gyomei vs koku choreography and sanemi’s sequence/entrances
Kokoshibu in end wanted to go all out against Shinazugawa and Himejima but forgot about Tokito and Genya.
P.S kokoshibu wasn't at it's peak fighting against Pillars, he was just glad that he could fight a worthy opponents like Himejima and Shinazugawa.
True, but don't forget about shinazugawa genya. He changed the whole situation after creating a strong blood demon art.

Many people think that koku was only having PTSD during the fight which is true but its not possible for him to defeat Sanemi and Giyomei together. If both of them gave fought koku from the beginning then he would've been killed.
Koku couldn't even break the weapon of giyome and he neglected Muichiro and Genya. He was arrogant and his ugly form that he saw was the main reason he got defeated

This anime has become the most popular of them all. And with good reason the story and characters are really well created with deep motives and harsh childhoods. Pair that with an immense budget and top of the line people on the animation industry and boom DS for all. ❤this show got me back into watching anime seriously instead of just to kill time or eat
It’s mostly popular for its mind breaking animations. In the final arcs it was very rushed by the production team and we never got to see much of what a demon slayer normally does and we never got to understand how normal slayers exist in the corps all the production team wanted was a fast and action packed manga so we never got to emotionally get attached to any characters outside of the hashira and the main 3. Hell it would have been amazing if we had a snow village arc where they fully introduced Doma and arc for kokushibo and their insane power instead of a rushed ending where they just die without any major introductions to their characters
Actually, the story is kinda mid and common it could be better if the Author didn't rush to end this series. It has a lot of potential story wise but it feels incomplete.
