I mean they talk about sun god nika and joy boy a lot through the story and foreshadow many more times like how the fish man pirates had a sun as their emblem for the sun god nika who will release the oppressed and then luffy releases the oppression of the fish men…. So in reality I’d you missed skypea who cares it was still one of the worst arcs for progression of the story… unless Enel makes another appearance

I’m not going to lie I got chills watching this. Luffy’s awakening wasn’t just a power increase- it was the culmination of 800 years of striving to break the chains of Imu and the Celestial Dragons. A promise of freedom, near fulfilment. A moment of mythical significance, and this edit really hammered that home.
And oda-sensei has make one piece from the real world history!

Also, ever since Gear 2nd, Luffy's transformations have given off steam, but starting with Gear 4th, the steam always strangely seemed to stay in place in small bands around his body, like it was more of a piece of clothing or armor than a simple mass of hot water vapor...

I’m 35 and im blessed to be able to go on this journey with my sons (9&10). I used to watch one piece when I was 13 and I couldn’t get into it bc of all the censorship (sanji’s horrible accent and lollipop). I picked it back up when I turned 29 and I’m all caught up…..my childhood would have been so much better if I kept watching. Seeing the joy in my son’s eyes when he saw sabo’s return at dressarosa, watching him cry in sheer agony at the end of marineford…..praying we all reach laugh tale together.

there's nothing out there even comparable to one piece in terms of depth and mystery of the story, i tried to find and anime like it and couldn't even come close, Oda is such a genius for creating this master piece and probably the most hard working manga creator out there
I agree with u. Try tower of god manhwa if u r really interested in something similar. It may not be as good but has similar scale of world building, mystery and depth. So far nothing else comes close in comparison to these two for me.

I think one piece is even more epic (but also longer at this point in time) but I would say the only thing that deserves to be compared to one piece in terms of depth and mystery is tower of god

This might end up being the greatest epic of all time! So far I believe it! The Greatest Story EVER TOLD! There is so much Heart and Passion in each character and setting, no topic to hard to tackle, and a message that transcends age, race, origin, and religion. Truly a story that should be told for generations to come. FOR 800 YEARS!
You do know that the ending of one piece is the greatest and grandest party celebration that will unite all races into One. And in the real world, all one piece fans will also have our own party. The many times I see still I get goosebumps, this edit is by far best we can find. And the joining of all pieces from different arcs were put together of this masterpiece. I hope more highlights come after more reveals from the Egghead and further arcs comeout
