Just to let people know, Gyomei not letting Kokushibou unleash his breathing techniques and slightly tearing his kimono are canon feats.
Though Kokushibou was drunk, Gyomei wasn't marked either in these scenes.
Truly the Strongest hashira of the current generation.

The sequence of events are different the reason gyomei got the hit on his kimono was bc Kokushibo left himself open when he tried to strike gyomei and gyomei was able to avoid it. Here it looked like gyomei was just overwhelming Kokushibo with the onslaught of attacks and speed which look faster her than in the manga
Absolutely bro, pretty convinced he's the 2nd strongest human. Most ppl say Michikatsu is but, gyomei legit broke his sword at the start of this battle without a slayer mark. As a human he wouldn't have the ability to regenerate his sword, the fight would've already been decided.
Can't believe the dude is so underrated, I hope once they see him in action they'll show him some respect.
@b3as_t Michikatsu definitely was. Michikatsu fighting sanemi reminded him of when he fought the sengoku period wind hashira so sanemi is = to him minus the endurance and Michikatsu surpassed him
