Hi Ade ,Lets go for "Warts and all" see the whole procedure , I'm sure it will be helpfull to anybody else think of a simular project. Great vid as usual
step by step warts and all for the shed. Love the videos Ade, have been a massive help as i teach myself machining out in my own similarly sized small workshop in a little corner of London.
Hi Ade. We like a good talk as well as machining lessons and fun craft. That tool post is really looking nice coming along so well with many fresh options, big plus you are having the greatest time sharing with us all. Nice to see the boring bar holder again we are never bored LOL. Oh my how funny not seen in the big box stores here in the USA that we have seen anyways. Thank you Ade. Lance & Patrick.
Thank's so much for your continued support both . Loving your spindle building video's guys , Cheers and we need more of your weekly stuff , barker build time . and the big reveal of the product prototype , love to both , Ade.
Hi ade as I thoroughly enjoy your videos step by step for the shed built and thinking behind is my vote . I always look forward to your posts each week the more the merrier . Kind regards Shaun 😀😀
Great video once again. I absolutely laughed out loud when you showed the tube of adhesive. With a name like that it HAS to work! I wish I was closer I would absolutely get the tool belt on to help you with your addition. However there is a large body of water between us. I think I'm almost as excited as you are for your shop addition. Keep well! Cheers from Canada
Enjoyed your video yet again. The adhesive appears to be a UK phenomenon. I like the engine starting spray made here in Australia called “start ya bastard” it also works brilliantly. I would like to see the extension.
Ade, Thanks for another interesting video. I am sure that many of us could learn something from seeing the planning and construction of your shed extension, so show us everything. I've just got a WM14 to go with my WM180, it is a nice machine for the money, but needs three people to lift it comfortably. I am fitting the M-DRO 3 axis kit which gives a lot more facilities than the Warco factory fit option, such as PCD measurement.
Hi Ade, New subscriber to your channel. Have been watching your vids with much intrest - enjoying all - ( some twice ) . It's nice to see some great projects without a shop full of thousands of dollars of machines ( you can only use one at a time anyways ). By the way - a 30 to 40 min video is great! If some don't want to watch the whole thing that,s their loss. Nice work!!
Hi Ade, I don't remember how I found your channel but, I'm glad I did. I'm a retired machinist that did a bit of toolmaking a long time ago. My Dad was a carpenter so, I've got some sawdust in my veins too. I'd love to see a step by step of your shed extension.
Hey, I hear you bout life getting in the way - got a couple projects I wanted to use this summer but haven't even gotten them made yet, lol! As for shop layout, I'm impressed how well you have used cubic feet rather than square feet so far, it will be cool to see how you arrange everything once the shed has been lengthened. Boring bar holder looks pro now, and will be nice and rigid. As for the glue, you gotta admit, the marketing department knows how to get us to remember their product name, lol! Hope you're doing well.
Onwards and upwards, looking forward to a flurry of wood swarf😊. I can see in the future some flats being machined on the holder to orientate, plus a loose key. Thanks for sharing and best regards from the Black Country.
Hi Ade, would love to see a build series on the workshop extension 😁 Having followed you for a long time now, seeing the progression with the workshop would be excellent
Hi ade I'm from across the pond emma.s spare room told me about your channel .I really enjoy it I'm retired also .it would be great if your could do a step by step on your adding on it would give a chance to learn if they decide to DIY in the future keep the great videos coming g bless ty
Thanks for your positive comment mate. i have just been looking at Emma's spare room as i have not seen it before , i think australian , can you tell he how i was mentioned as i would be interested , Cheers Ade.
Hi Ade , a new subscriber here ... great channel ... real down to earth approach is what people want ..... workshop extension 👍 we ( I ) would like to see it step by step as a lot of us would like some extra square feet of space in our respective ‘shops’ Regards Partsmade ( the Midlands😉)
I have a tiny shed too and I worry more about the grinding dust from the bench grinder etc getting into the ways of the machines. I end up chucking old towels over them to protect them when not in use. So the mill/tiny lathe are in the CLEAN end of my shed :)
Hi Ade. Just a line to say that I've been getting on with making a solid compound for my Myford ML4. The cast iron was hacksawed out of an industrial weight. After getting near to shape using my Cowells Drill / Mill I was able yesterday to take it over to a mates who has a Bridgeport. Able to set the head angle to do the sloping sides. Used the same index bit multi to mill all the faces. Now the thing that was surprising was all the surfaces seemed a bit furry, but the base, same cutter and using WD40 was as smooth as marble. If you've room I can say the Bridgeport is some machine.
Hey......have I missed the shed extension project? Please film the whole thing......your considerations for a sturdy base, insulation, laying in power, security, minimising damp in winter etc. Look forward to seeing it.
Hi Ade. Nice tool alteration. Looking forward to seeing the shed extension work. Maybe you could do a comparison test on some more adhesives, all you need is a test blanket.
Hi Ade, looking at getting one these warco machines myself. Ive looked through your videos for an in depth review/walkaround of the machine but couldnt see one. Would be invaluable information for people in the same boat as me. Regards👍
Another great video Ade; lets have a step by step video of your extension, If you have the room , & finances I would make it a 2 metre extension. I have utilised my single garage ( & insulated ) 18ft x 8ft & still want more room so think on it. What mill are you looking to get?
Hi Ade, Good video, cannot wait to see you with a milling machine :) It's hard to separate your machines in a small garden shed, I'm in the same position. No room for an extension :( ATB Adam
Hi Ade, Have you considered insulation in your shed ,it would make a difference with your rust problem & you would be warm in the winter. A good time to insulate while extending.
The original bit is a bit rubbish or garbage as they say over the pond , the extension will be solid and the opportunity for insulation will be there . fortunately we don't get stupidly hot or cold weather here so i will see how it go's , Cheers Ade.
Hi Ade. Been through all the video's and can't find the boring block, the only thing close is the die grinding holder, which you maybe thinking of? Dave
Hi Ade. Re the new Mill. I've sent you a couple of emails, inc photos, regarding my thoughts and what I ended up doing, which was to get the WM14, without the little DRO fitted. I've also purchased a couple of glass scales and a 3 axis head, just in case I decide to add a slide to the head later. Did you get my emails? The WM14 weighs 60kg, but thats still much to heavy for me to move. Going up a model, or so, to my prefered options, the MW16 or 18, increases the price and size size markedly and the weight increases to 113kg and 220kg respectively. I feel sure that for what I intend using the machine, the WM 14 will prove more than adequate. Cheers Noel
As I'm just about to clear and extend a shed to put my Warco 300 lathe/mill combo in it I'd like to see the shed extension Ade. Can you tell me what the cutting fluid you are using from the bottle is please Ade? And do you recommend it?
Ade I don't recall you saying what size your shed is, so am unable to comment on the 1m extension. How much room do you have for the extension? I am with others, go for more space if possible/affordable. No one ever complained about too much space, but as work always expands to fill all the available space, more is better if possible, Thanks for all the great videos, and I also vote for a show it all of the expansion John
Hi Ade just had to drop you a line to ask if you are ok, as you are truly missed at the moment hope you don’t mind me asking on here but I don’t know any other way.
I think you should extend the worshop by two meters not one as come a few months time you will be saying I need to enlarge to fit some more items into the shed
i only have 1 metre until i hit my limit . maybe if my channel gets bigger i will rent one in the future but i am just doing it for fun at the moment , Cheers Ade.

Another great video keep it up. To that end I would prefer a blow by blow video on shed extension.
We have that product here in California. I've never tried it myself. And yes..gave me a chuckle too.
