I don’t do epic but enjoy watching people’s processes. One thing I’ve changed lately for my 28mm is to attach 3 figures to half of a tongue depressor (loli stick) just the time that saves putting down and picking up figures has had a noticeably positive impact on my speed. Think that might work wonders for your epic. Always enjoy your vids and thanks for sharing!

I’ll have to get some tongue depressors and give it a go. I need a few in any case to use as bases for some fencing

Thanks for the update. Your painting time for these is more in line with how long it takes me.. Since I don't paint 10.5 hours at a time (ha!) it takes me about 3 days from start to finish for this many figures at a rate of painting 3-4 hours a day for a rgt of Old Guard Grenadiers a pied (4 stands.) It's all those fiddly white belts and such that really slow me down, even though they are on strips.
Looking forward to your Nappy painting videos..
    Have fun and be well.

      Thanks buddy.
It took me about 6 days in total lol, just doing a bit every day.
I think my Napoleonic cavalry will take a similar amount of time. The infantry will take me longer I reckon.
      Have a great week mate

I think that time is not too much out of kilter than your previous 2 vids, bear in mind that you are getting 6 bases here, which is the equivalent of 2 regiments of anything else and as you say, they are individual models. I currently have 10 landwehr each on their own painting stick and I imagine just the simple task of handling, picking each up and putting them back individually, as each colour is added, is adding a good chunk of time.
I am priming with black Vallejo primer and dry brushing white before I start and also doing a coat of mat varnish after the wash. I reckon just the painting will take me three sessions and I paint at one hour sessions, then another hour if adding in priming and basing - and probably another hour because I tell lies 🙂 and things never go strictly to plan, so say 5 hours for my 10 cav, put onto two bases.

Yes just picking them up one at a time will add loads of time on.
I agree as there’s 6 bases for 10 hours, that equates to roughly the same as 6 stands of infantry.
I’m glad I’ve only got a couple more to do for the Rebs lol.
One of the main reasons I chose to do the ACW was so I wouldn’t have to paint too much cavalry.

I don’t think that’s bad for cavalry at that scale they look great
