Tail Rack from Kemimoto on my CRF300L Rally

Kemimoto sent me this new rear rack to demo, and so far I'm very happy with it. It's quite a bit smaller than my previous rack, which is a good thing, and due to its shape and positioning, I'm able to use the side bars as hand holds. That's a big deal to me, as I tend to have to pick my bike up off the ground a lot. It's compatible with the Honda CRF300L and CRF300L Rally - all years (2021-2023)

Those bolts were more difficult to get off the first time for me because of the thread lock. Very thorough review, thanks. I may have to cave and finally mount my tail bag securely!

Yeah, definitely similar styles. I have a Precision rack in my XT250, but on my XT there’s not as much room around that front mounting bar to use it as a hand grip. I was glad this one sits slightly higher for that reason.

Is that the 2 gallon RotopaX Gasoline Container? Also what storage bag are you using for the rack?

Yes, it's the 2 gallon Rotopax. I've used both the Nelson Rigg Commuter Sport bag (CL-1060-S2), and a hard box from Harbor Freight (Apache 2800) with this rack, and it works great for both.
