TBH, I've always made sure my controller was on before launching games and I think that goes back to years ago when a lot of games could not recognize a controller if it wasn't on when the game started. Some older games are still like that today. Aside from the disconnection problem this sounds mostly like it's on PoE2 to adjust how it handles input. It may be worth trying the dongle in a different USB port or something like that because I have a similar 8bitdo unit (Ultimate C 2.4g) and I haven't experienced disconnects.
@@CFG-qv7hy I have tried different ports. It still disconnects. And I tried a USB hub right up front. Same deal. I decided to keep the controller and try it with Bluetooth and see if that's any better. It may just be this controller and it's 2.4 connection. Seems every else has had good luck with 8bitdo. And I love the feel of this controller.
Problem one using the controller after the game has started some games. Don't like that happens to me when I'm playing battlefield or Call of duty Your problem too might be the location of where your USB dongles seated on your PC I had the same problem when I had it on the back of my PC next to my Wi-Fi antennas. When I moved it to the front of my PC the problems went away
@@RichieRichTube I have the dongle in front on a USB hub. Gonna run the controller on Bluetooth and see if it keeps the connection. And yes the wired controllers are basically always on so they are picked up right away (that's a huge plus). Thank you for watching and have an outstanding Christmas.
PS4DS wireless on steam. Bluetooth. Mainly on the BF series. No problems. I’m interested if it does the co op in other games, or is it a glitch in the game that should ask how many players?
@@cyberyakeradventuresI recently had to order a new one after about 4 years of use. Even after cleaning it out, I get stick drift.I’m 48 and am always glad to see other older gamers. Rock on my fishing brother!

Hey bro, I've been having the same experiences with other controllers and the 8-Bit controllers. It's just game dependent

Interested how the ps5 controller adapts to pc. Corded or can do wireless?
@BernPisarcikJr I have been using it corded. I need to test it with Bluetooth. Just hear that Bluetooth is not as stable as 2.4 gig.
