Never imagined that these videos would be the start of a multi million dollar business. ANYBODY can do it and I want to show you how in my Free 1 Hour Training: lostcreatoracademy.com/freetraining
love this vdo! i will be in Koh Lipe for my honeymoon and my birthday in July and it's low season in Thailand. i wish it will be great there, less people but rain lol pray for me 😂😂😂
Ps. If you're new here, I'm normally more upbeat about the places I visit but if I said everything was great I wouldn't be very helpful ;) Love yall and let's get lost again tomorrow!
We're there 5 years ago and it's incredible. A lot quieter, less crownded, and cheaper. It's like a hidden paradise. But the island is getting popular and well develop now. I came back for a few more times but the first times still be the best!
Wow, Koh Lipe looks like a hidden gem in Thailand! The crystal clear waters and pristine beaches definitely give off Maldives vibes. Your video has convinced me to add it to my travel bucket list!
Man, BY FAR THE MOST INFLUENTIAL TRAVEL VLOGGER AROUND! not only are you inspirational you are definitely so respected by your followers! Another amazing video!
SUN is what was missing while you were there - any island would not feel right if it was raining and cloudy all the time. As I mentioned - it's low season on Lipe now - December to April is INCREDIBLE!!! :) The wind is changing now and the beaches are definitely not looking what they normally look - I agree that going there right now may feel like a waste of money. But in high season you'd be wasting your money being anywhere else because Koh Lipe is guaranteed to be the best :). I'm actually happy you didn't rave about Lipe :) - not as many people will come - more space for me haha :). Good luck on your travels, I'm watching most of your videos. El Nido is high on my list, but I may just stick to Lipe instead because I live directly on a gorgeous beach on Lipe and in El Nido you have to take daily trips to swim in beautiful water - not ideal for me since I want to stay 5-6 months in one place and enjoy the beaches.
I was in Koh Lipe in January. I was coming from Malaysia and it was the first place I visited in Thailand. Wasn't even intending on coming here, but in order to get to Koh Lanta, I had to spend at least a night. It's one of the most beautiful islands I've been to, but I agree that it's expensive and touristy. It's worth a 2-3 nights max. The water is incredibly clear and blue though.
I think your honesty about how you felt about the place makes your vlog more authentic rather than just saying every single place is awesome. Keep it up dude!
Clear water can be found in many places of Thailand, such as Tachai Island, Similan , Surin national park are islands where have the clearest water and gorgeous coral in Thailand too. Let's search for those islands. They're so amazing
I was at Koh Lipe 2016 and 2017, exactly a year apart and it was a huge difference. A LOT more people this year, even i was surprised. And in my opinion it was better last year, with less people. Love your videos!!!
I leave for study abroad in Chiang Mai in 10 days and your videos get me so hyped. I want to take some weekend trips down south while I'm there but every beach looks so beautiful I have no idea where to choose!
Ty for the video. I have been to koh lipe in 2012 and then there where just one Concrete walkway from Pattaya beach to sunrise beach and there where almost no people, such a shame that the Island have been so populated. If you still are in Thailand and want crystal clear Waters and a real calm and serinity whitout motorbikes, car exc then go to Koh Kradan it´s a must if you just want to hang out on lonley beaches and avoid all trafick. Thumbs up for your work and ill be glad to se some more
I remember Koh Lipe without walking street, there wasn't even electricity - generators were used for part of the day, and there were not any resorts on the island but small wooden huts along the beach front. It has changed so much from what I see from you video... it doesn't look like the paradise I remember from 2003 - I certainly would not return now. Love your videos :)
Christian, regarding the competition. What sets you apart from 99.9% of other TH-camrs these days (not only travel-focused ones) is objectivity. This is pleasant to watch. Combination of beautiful drone shots, amazing colours, humour and critique. Keep it up my friend! :)
I did a day trip to Lipe from Langkawi in Malaysia in January 2017 which is where I was staying and luckily didn't need a visa since I'm from England. Was there for 7 hours before heading back to Langkawi. Lipe is very close to the Thailand/Malaysia border - personally loved Lipe and worth a day trip from Langkawi IMO
Have been there in February this year, found it absolutely amazing. You should have kayaked to the small islands at Sunrise beach and go to this amazing jelly fish reggea bar. That was so awesome, will never forget the amazing time I had there.
We went in March on the way to Langkawi and was pretty quiet surprisingly. Staying at the tip of Sunrise beach where it was very peaceful and private, with few long tail boats yet to take over but a 100metre walk around the corner led to a busy crowded part of it, interesting to see the difference while your there! But absolutely amazing sea life and food! Love to see your comparison, very interesting!
One of the things on my bucketlist is to be the fan of the day. If you go to songkran next year i will probably be there as well. Amazing vlogs, keep it going!
Matt congratulations on 300k!! Your videos are simply amazing. The effects and shots are mad. The jokes are hilarious and you definitely should have more subs. You are like a travelling, nature-lover Casey Neistat. Awesome stuff from you- keep it up! Hopefully you'll reach 1mn subs soon. Keep travelling and getting lost! ;) Dan
I wasn't a big fan of pattaya beach. However I thought sunrise beach was a dream. Especially if you walked as much to the left as possible. I also loved the beach club "art beach club" right on pattaya beach. Such a massive and beautiful area where we were completely alone all day. Enjoy the rest of your travels!
Dang! #Notifsquad Got early today! OMG I wish I am exploring with you to see this sick view and places! 😍 Loving the flow of the vlog. The water is magical 😲 I love the jokes keep on doing it haha!
Can't believe you're on 300k already I started following on 20k, congrats!!! hopefully ill see you somewhere in Thailand and ill come get in your vlog haha!
Lipe is beautiful. Loved that island. There were too many long tails when we were there a couple years ago, but it looks like that may have grown more by now. The beaches are for sure affected by the weather in your video, it was far more beautiful than that. You get out of travel what you put in and you can tell in the video you are feeling drained and Thailand-out - which happens to the best of us after awhile traveling especially in this country. You didn't feature or mention Sunrise beach, which is the go-to scenic beach on the island, it's a bit like Koh Kham. We nearly crossed paths again, I'm currently on Koh Kood, left Mak today - met you a few months back on the plane to mexico city.
I had to sail through a storm when I was in Koh Lanta in October, it was not fun! Quite the adventure but pretty scary! Love the honest review about Koh Lipe, think I'd still want to go to swim in that clear water in person!
from you showed I agree with you but the sunset shots with your aerial support was awesome and what I think makes it so great is the massed fleet of boats it adds something special once again great work the pair of you stay safe
Glad you kept it real on this one! I was looking forward to hearing your thoughts about Koh Lipe when I saw you guys were headed there (only place in Thailand I had been to before you haha!) and I was personnally disappointed as well by Koh Lipe. A lot busier than I expected (I was there late May-June 2016) It was the beggining of the low season and a lot of the shops were closed... didn't help that it rained for 4/5 days that we were there so we were basically stuck in our room waiting for the storm to pass (which it never did) not to mention all the trash that's just lying around the island because its so isolated .... not a hit for me.
So sad, i went in 2009 with my best friend & it was pure and untouched, we felt like real explorers! Any beach we found while exploring the island we had entirely to our selves. There were no island tours, just kayaks to hire. We just rolled up on the pure white sand, walked and found our accommodation which was £20 a night on the beach front and Loved life.
Great videos, I love Thailand. I'm thinking about starting my own vlog, and was wondering if you need permits to vlog, like work permits and filmpermits. Do you get any hassle entering different countries with all the gear. Or is it all considered touristactivities?
I was worrying all through this video (just booked my trip), and then you said "most incredible marine life" and "if you're a snorkler" and I was like "phew :D", because that's exactly why I'm going there, can't wait to check it out for myself.
waiting so long !!! love ur "Top 10 Philippines" clip so much that I even made my itinerary according to that, hope u can made another Thailand Top 10 ! XOXO :)
Custom Vintage Dublin i also were in those bungalows they are incredible, did you try that little like cafe on the beach, i ate breakfast there every morning, it was really good
I dunno, Lipe was the best island in terms of sand texture and water clarity imo. And I've been to pretty much every Thai island. It seems you were not impressed because of the cloudiness and lack of sun.
Dean Sonetirot the sand was not very nice while I was there and between the prices, difficulty of getting there and overcrowded beaches, it turned me away but I'm glad you enjoyed!
Seriously laughed out loud at "Will it blend... Unsuspecting snorkelers". Too bad you didn't enjoy it so much there but we do appreciate the honesty. At least you got some seriously stunning sunset drone footage!
Great video! It brought back so many memories... I've been there last January and I absolutely loved it. I think Sunrise Beach has by far the whitest sand and clearest turquoise water of all Thailand (comparing it to the other beaches I`ve been on). One thing you didn't mention is that there's no nightlife over there. In fact, every shop and restaurant closes around midnight and the whole island becomes a "ghost town".
I've been to Koh Lipe two times now and I really like it although it is getting a bit too crowded now. The difference between 2014 and 2016 was huge. In 2014 there were practically 0 vehicles. I sortof agree with your comments on Lipe. It has a certain charm but not really suitable for the usual 'backpacker' unless you want to do some diving or you're en-route. What we did (2 years ago) was to make our way by island hopping from Phuket to PhiPhi to Koh Lanta and from there took a fast(ish) boat to Lipe (TigerLine $50 pp) where we spent a few scuba diving. Awesome video as always. Did you have any problems with your drone in Thailand so far? I'm just asking because there's a new law which requires you to fill out quiet a bunch of forms... or do just fly it most of the time and no one cares?
Ah, I'm going here in a couple days and I had some high expectations also, but this video makes me worried it's going to be insanely crowded. At least now, I won't be disappointed and I can just make the most of it.
Never imagined that these videos would be the start of a multi million dollar business. ANYBODY can do it and I want to show you how in my Free 1 Hour Training: lostcreatoracademy.com/freetraining

Lost LeBlanc you are absolutely a true inspiration, love your vlogs / work / channel ...
any tip for thing to do at the Moon party beside the part? cause i'll be spending 4 nights there
Can i have you go pro for free? 🙏😁
I come to this channel only for the jokes...I actually have no interest in travel ;)
Thanks for sharing your real opinion about a location rather than saying that everything's so nice. This is really valuable information, great work!

it's great when a travel vlogger is honest and says it when a place isn't great. i've been to Koh Lipe and you are right Christian!
+l c Thanks! Appreciate that :)

One of your best aerial footage so far! Beautiful! And the cutting/editing together with the music at like 10:03 was so perfect, gave me chills man.
He’s so funny in a cynical, sarcastic pessimistic way. Omg! I didn’t think you being bored and disappointed could be so entertaining.

Yes, really great there, the water & view is superb
These vids help me forget about my stressful job.
Glad I can help :)
Congrats on 300k Christian! Great content today buddy:) love the pineapple swim shorts as well!
Love it
Indeed, Koh Lipe has one of the clearest waters in Thailand. And the island is comparatively quite secluded.
dude I actually love your vlogs
koh lanta man :) decent diving, and not super touristy. laid back and super chill. my favorite of all the islands I visited
A drone scene of all the bouts going in the same direction would be dope!
Good drone shots as always by the way.
missed out on this island on my last two trips. Will plan a visit soon
very beautiful KOH LIPE
Absolutely gorgeous room, the view is wonderful!
+Elizabeth w ;)

Hahah, love your humor! This was awesome!
+Drone Audio haha.. :D thanks ;)
Very informative. Thanks for sharing. Trying to learn more about Koh Lipe and your video was a good "realistic" introduction.
Great videos, I love Thailand. I'm thinking about starting my own vlog, and was wondering if you need permits to vlog, like work permits and filmpermits. Do you get any hassle entering different countries with all the gear. Or is it all considered touristactivities?

+Euclides Netto Thank you Euclides! ;)
Custom Vintage Dublin i also were in those bungalows they are incredible, did you try that little like cafe on the beach, i ate breakfast there every morning, it was really good
you always find such amazing places!!🎉
You didn't link those kid's TH-cam channel? damn competition is getting very fierce...
Love the longthale boats. Great video, greets from Antwerp
+Justlife Thanks man! Cheers! ;)
😂 tune in next time
If you stay in Serendipity hotel of Lipe, is really nice. Private beach and insane rooms with private pool with amazing view
I feel like m also travelling with u guys.
Having fun watching ur awesome videos
oh yeahhh. Notification squad. #teamgetlost
;)
the squad!
Great video! It brought back so many memories...
I've been there last January and I absolutely loved it. I think Sunrise Beach has by far the whitest sand and clearest turquoise water of all Thailand (comparing it to the other beaches I`ve been on).

+Olikz Thanks bro! ;)
Congrats christian for 300k
+NI CK Thanks man! ;)
nah, been watching you since 15k subs or something like 12k.. and u deserve it man..
As always, great drone footage! Thanks for the honest opinion!
I've been to Koh Lipe two times now and I really like it although it is getting a bit too crowded now. The difference between 2014 and 2016 was huge. In 2014 there were practically 0 vehicles. Also I think you might have been unlucky with it being a Thai holiday also. From what I've heard Koh Lipe is one of the most popular destinations for Thai people since it has some kind of royal history.
For anyone going to Langkawi, Koh Lipe is a great option too! Between the two I would pick Lipe any day except maybe for the nightlife in Langkawi! ☺️
Love your videos btw and thanks for staying honest!
Also those were some of the nicest drone shots I've seen in your channel! (sunrise beach)

Leblanc you are a super content creator, pretty fly my man
very good video.Thanks
+Mawji Patel Thanks Mawji! Glad you like it. :)
MY FAVOURITE ALSO
Awesome video as always. Did you have any problems with your drone in Thailand so far? I'm just asking because there's a new law which requires you to fill out quiet a bunch of forms... or do just fly it most of the time and no one cares?
good morning my fav'rit vlogger! :) #catchingup
+wynonna salazar Yay! :)
Oh yeah I been there the place is so good so peaceful
And has really good snorkeling activities
This is so awesome!
+Hughbrickley 6 Thanks buddy! ;)
Awesome...... again
You should give lipe another shot bro
Thank you for the great videos, beautiful there in Thailand, drone shots are amazing.....😀
Ah, I'm going here in a couple days and I had some high expectations also, but this video makes me worried it's going to be insanely crowded. At least now, I won't be disappointed and I can just make the most of it.
