I lived in CT from the mid 80s until 2001 so this brings back a lot of memories. I remember all the reporters and the tragic news of the copper crash. The Mets were also my team so it was fun to watch the coverage of the World Series. So many good times and memories
So she wasn't wearing her seat belt, which was what would have possibly kept her conscious after the crash, because she had trouble with it in her previous helicopter crash. That is so fucking sad.

I vividly remember this tragedy while listening live to Howard Stern radio show on WNBC AM radio.
Stern left WNBC in 1985. Joey Reynolds was doing p.m. drive at the time of this tragedy. There is audio on TH-cam.
I was one of those "millions" who heard the broadcast live. Horrible.
So scary. I know everything is a risk but something about aircraft makes me especially scared of death.
