There are lots of other Classic Era Discords, PvP discords, guild discords etc. The link above is a prominent one with lots of general Classic Era info. I would suggest also joining the main discords of the big guilds on your server as well.
Are the battlegrounds Qs popping? Yes, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening battlegrounds are popping and a lot of fun! More recently Qs have been popping during the week as well in the evening. We get all the BGs to pop, Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin and Alteric Valley Qs to pop as well.
Is there world PvP? Yes if you look hard enough you can find world PvP in Winterspring, Sithilus, Blackrock, and Felwood
Are players ranking? Yes
Are players raiding? Yes, to my knowledge every week ZG, Molten Core, Onyxia, Blackwing Lair, AQ20, AQ40 and Naxxramas are all being run.
Are players leveling and questing? Yes and recently more lower levels have been putting together dungeon groups. I would suggest joining a large guild and doing "/g" guild chat and "/join lookingforgroup" to find other players to organize dungeon groups.
I play as horde, is it still fun?
Yes, the horde also have a good community that is similar in gear, skill etc. They also raid and are very competitive in battlegrounds.
Is it too late to get back into classic, I don't have full BiS?
No, this is a great time to gear up since many players are already geared out.

good discipline in staying in bear ...if you can try and get an early demo shout that will really help you more easily soak some damage in the stuns
Solid suggestion man. I do agree I should use Demoralizing Shout more often especially against rogues and warriors. I think towards the end when he had me slowed with crippling poison would have been a good time for that. Also helps keep him in combat and reduces his dps. Thanks man, I'll try that!

Two tips from watching the first duel (stop clicking goes without saying ofc, but hey u do you I guess^^) - First one...use abolish poison instead of skull...maybe you were concerned about a rocket helm tho, so might was a valid play...but u lose so much hp/mana especially when pre-using it and not canceling it and still get blinded in the end. Second one...when you cast moonfire, you apply dot tick dmg. If you re-cast moonfire dot tick dmg resets. If you however downrank 1 rank of moonfire (rank 9 instead of 10), max dot tick dmg doesn't reset and you can spam rank 9 moonfire for initial dmg + keep dot dmg up (loads of more dps). When dot tick dmg is about to run out you apply another max rank moonfire & keep spamming rank 9 moonfire.
Thanks man I appreciate the advice! I totally agree with you on both of those. This was right after I got skull of impending doom so I was usually it a decent amount however I have pretty much stopped using it bc of the health and mana drain both of which I am already low on. Now I do abolish poison and rockets boots. As for the de ranking of the moonfires, I have a rank 8 moonfire on my action bar for that reason however I often forget to switch keys. During those moments I get hyper focused and often forget to switch to the other moonfire. I appreciate the advice man :)

Well, average rogue - but far from godly.
Instead of that starfire you could have rooted him, starfire, grenade...
Root is pretty darn strong, don't you have Improved Nature's Grasp?
Also, always have explosive sheeps - they see and track down invisible targets.
It's pretty obvious that druids is the best 1v1 pvp class in the game.
explosive sheep track can track down rogues and druids? I never knew that. Never seen anyone use them. That is pretty cool. When I start playing again I will have to try that, thank you

What is the point in using world buffs to duel someone with no buffs whatsoever?
Robtherogue is a full BiS Grand Marshal rogue and one of the best PvPers I have ever fought. He beats everyone 1v1. I am just a lowly Druid with partial BiS. Was hoping to even the odds. We have been dueling a bunch. He said to try using my world buffs, so I did.
