There are lots of other Classic Era Discords, PvP discords, guild discords etc. The link above is a prominent one with lots of general Classic Era info. I would suggest also joining the main discords of the big guilds on your server as well.
Are the battlegrounds Qs popping? Yes, BG pop EVERY DAY during the evens. Friday is the big BG night. We get all the BGs to pop, Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin and Alteric Valley Qs to pop as well. There are specific discords that also have planned Alterac Valley games etc.
Is there world PvP? Yes if you look hard enough you can find world PvP in Winterspring, Sithilus, Blackrock, and Felwood
Are players ranking? Yes
Are players raiding? Yes, to my knowledge every week ZG, Molten Core, Onyxia, Blackwing Lair, AQ20, AQ40 and Naxxramas are all being run.
Are players leveling and questing? Yes and recently more lower levels have been putting together dungeon groups. I would suggest joining a large guild and doing "/g" guild chat and "/join lookingforgroup" to find other players to organize dungeon groups.
I play as horde, is it still fun?
Yes, the horde also have a good community that is similar in gear, skill etc. They also raid and are very competitive in battlegrounds.
Is it too late to get back into classic, I don't have full BiS?
No, this is a great time to gear up since many players are already geared out.

Helm: Mish'undare, Circlet of the Mind Flayer (off Nef) or T2.5 Genesis helm or T3 helm. Necklace: Amulet of Ver'nilish. Shoulders T2.5 Genesis, for R13 PvP shoulders. Back: Clock of Necropolis. Bracers: Rockfury Bracers. Belt: Eye Stalk Waistcord (off AQ40 C-thun). Off hand: Saphrions left eye and Acient Cornerstone Grimoire (it was in my bag and friend asked for it and I was to nice rip). *****Trinkets: The Restraining Essence of Saphrion. Quick question: I noticed you have Q,W,E bound to abilities. What keys do you use to move?
I noticed your rocket boots weren't enchanted. If you don't know, you can enchant your soulbound pair with minor speed and when they break, it will destroy the unenchanted pair. Also, the video is cropped and I can't see some of the gear names or your action bars. Doesn't matter much just thought I'd let you know!

take 2 points out of imp nature grasp. it will proc pretty much instantly anyways and you still get further range. think about when melee attack you its not just one swing. with rogues its lots of swings very quickly same with a fury war. as a arms war they still auto + hamstring + mortalstrike
I have considered that, they could go to the increase range. This is why I keep it though, I know it is very specific scenarios but warriors with 2-handed weapons or hunters with their melee attack, or a paladin, or a shaman I like to know for sure that first hit since I popped it they will get rooted. I have used it without improved many times, I do on SoD atm, and totally feel it when it’s not 100% chance. Waiting for it to prop is always frustrating
Cool guide, what do you think about the bloodvine set?
Bloodvine is very good for PvE especially early on when you don’t have later phase gear. For PvP it’s not very good though bc it is cloth with very low armor and no stamina (if I remember correctly). If you are just back lining in AV or something like that the spell power could be good but stamina is really important in late phase classic because people hit so hard
Yeah, it's true, I tried it out in pvp and felt very weak specially against melee, and you also need to be Taylor to get that set bonus @@morphiousTV

What do you think about taking 3 points Reflection instead of Nature's Focus? Is the 15% mana regen worth it?
If I remember correctly it is increased mana regeneration while casting, and I personally don’t cast a lot I use a lot of instant spells for PvP. I have used it before when I would switch into a PvE spec and still PvP. I personally never notice any increase in mana sustainability
