Glad to see you wearing the DVF dress! I was saying KEEP when you were holding it in the closet clean out video. 😂 Looks great on you. I just love your videos! The budgeting, the scenery, the pets, your realness. Love it all.
As far as your grocery budget goes, if you’re not spending money frivolously or on things you don’t need, it is what it is. You probably need to increase that to a more realistic amount and the same with coffee shops. A budget is not meant to be a punishment and neither one of these things are anywhere near the level of some of the spending you were doing before. Yes, coffee is not what I would consider a “need” but in your case it seems that it is and that’s OK. I know from previous videos you’ve taken steps to lower this cost but sometimes you’re out somewhere or have a circumstance where dipping into this category is what you want to do.
This is a step in my budgeting journey I’ve been avoiding, I use a great spreadsheet, but I’ve been scared of the additional accountability of an app like this. This took the fear out. I’m ready to level up, thank you!
I use a Google Sheets spreadsheet that I got from Etsy and only use it to track my transactions (I don’t make put budget amounts, just actuals), but I like the look of this app! Thanks for sharing, I might try it out. I just found your channel this week and have really been enjoying your videos! ☺️
I am not comfortable linking any of my bank accounts or investment accounts. That’s why I don’t use any budgeting app. I am sure it is a great app. Thanks for sharing.
I felt like that for a long time, but once I did it, I just forgot about it. My banks usually alert me to suspected fraud any way, but I completely understand your concern.
A lot of times the “double” charge is triggered by the initial “authorization” and then another hits when it actually is processed by the bank. It has happened to me in my actual banking app.
YNAB is never glitchy for me. Interesting that that is your experience. Those double pending transactions would drive me bonkers. But good job on spending less than you make! Who cares what app you use, as long as you are seeing some change in a positive direction.
Although I got the hang of it, I found it glitchy and still confusing. Overall I didn’t enjoy using the app, it always felt stressful, then I found Quicken and I made the switch immediately.

Love the overview of this app, I haven’t heard of it before you mentioned it in a previous video!
I love your previous background --- I can't stop looking at the lamps instead of focusing on you.
love loved! I set up my quicken

Looks like an intuitive app, thanks for the breakdown. I use my own google sheets but like to look at apps for ideas. And your dogs are so cute!
Thanks 😊
Your hair looks really pretty in this video. I am still a big fan of a side part 😊
Thanks! Still love the side part even if Gen Z says it looks old 🤷♀️

Animal friends are always welcome in your videos! 😊
They’re the best 😊
Seeing Nantucket on your transactions makes me want to go back. Last summer I stayed for a week at the Westmoor club and had such a good time😊!
It’s such a great place to visit.

Oh good to know, thank you

So true. Whatever helps you budget is the best option.
Great breakdown. I can't remember you mentioning, in your previous videos, why you stopped using WYNAB. Could you share that with us?

@@dbalemon Thank you!
Good video.
Thanks!
In order to make this work do you use your debit card for all purchases rather than a credit card?
What the brand of that top🙏🏻
It’s a DVF wrap dress.
I heard you mention monarch in passing what were your thoughts on that program?
It’s why they call Australian shepherds velcro dogs lol
So true!
I’d be scared to give an app all my banking info. I always use PayPal. When buying online
Is that an American Eskimo?
Yes!!! No one can usually tell what breed he is.
