- Pontoon Captain Owns Haulover's Anger Haulover Inlet Boats
Haulover Inlet is a man-made channel in Miami-Dade County, Florida. It connects the northern end of Biscayne Bay with the Atlantic Ocean. The inlet was cut in 1925 through a narrow point in the sand between the cities of Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles.
The inlet entrance channel is 400 feet wide and 14 feet deep. It's dangerous to navigate because it features:
Sandbars
Rock walls
Strong tide currents
Gusty onshore winds
There is no speed limit at Haulover Inlet.

Finally someone with a lake boat that understands weight distribution.
That Pontoon was coming in riding like a Cadillac, smoothest of rides.
The Barletta Tr-toon Captain knew to have all his passengers in the rear and ride the waves on the way in.
all of the comments about weight being pushed to the back was smart, but also look how much those motors were trimmed up :)

No, it was not trimmed up. That is the shape of the Merc 400 engine cover. If anything, it may have been a tic below center.

The Pontoon (tri toon) n doubt dude knows how to time the swells and match his speed accordingly but also knows where the weight in the boat should be as well as engine trim. Well done! We don't see many "toon" boats do this well here.
