I've got one of these and reckon it's great, it saves me heaps of time when I make a salad because I've got a munted left thumb.
I don't recommend grating colby cheese in it though as the clean up is difficult.
Also because I'm a guy, I don't read instructions and had no idea about the one minute runtime/cooldown so I've been smashing it way more than that with no cooldown time, it's still kicking mate.

I was so happy to see it grated carrot well. I really just want it for slicing cucumber, grating carrot and maybe some cheese. I have arthritis and it puts me off making salad when my hands hurt so much.

I've had one for some time, I used it quite a few times including to grind bacon using the orange grater cone, it works but sometimes clogs, patience and I've never observed the 1 minute on 5 minute rest rule it eventually does the job I want so no complaints there. However after quite a number of uses I noticed food has built up in behind the white drive where it passes through the feed chute attachment and I can't work out how to remove the white drive to clean out the built up food stuck between the drive and the feed chute.
Over been using the red one for onions hahaha 😂 love you with all my heart 💓

It's a pity you did not test hard cheese, but with the almonds test you made enough I think. This thing is not good for hard stuff

if it didnt stop working 5 mintues after using for 1 min id deftinetly buy one but that would drive me insane does it tell u that in book or is the machine faulty
watched another review unfortnately no ones metioned time u can use this machine grr
The instructions did mention you should stop using after one minute and allow the motor to cool for 5 minutes (which is kind of crazy hey?). It doesn't actually stop automatically at one minute though and I definitely have pushed it over a minute.

Thanks for the review...based on the 1:5 use:cool down time, I won't buy this...probably will be quicker to keep using a knife lol, less cleaning too. Thanks for great videos. Love your channel. I've just arrived in NZ from the Cook Islands, so find them extremely helpful.
@@ginagdixon I think Aldi has something similar, but hand-cranked, and a bit cheaper, so I think I'll get that one. If I do, I'll let you know how it goes.
@@ginagdixon Update. It's electric, and while it doesn't look exactly like the Kmart one, I reckon it's basically the same thing. Still got it because I am cooking for just me and my housemate and it was cheap enough

It doesn't stop for you either so it's a bit silly, I always push it further than the minute and I'm sure that's not good for it.
