Thank you so much! I made a GIANT paper bow. Your instructions couldn't be clearer! people were totally impressed at how big and colorful it was. And it came together so fast! I used glue to secure everything rather than a brad, and it still worked perfectly (I just blocked the holes with little pieces of tape). I used scrapbooking paper that was white on one side, and I used a different color for each layer of bow. It was a gorgeous effect! It's the only way I'll make bows from now on.
I ended up skipping ahead in my assembly (I was in a hurry) and assembled my first bow the wrong way, but it also turned out cute, so I just left it that way. I ended up making some bows the "happy accident" way and some the original design. It was great to have two different bows. I used 65lb two-color double sided card stock. Thanks for sharing.
Love these, Jennifer. And if you can’t get out to get brads, you could make your own with a small button and some floral wire. That way its as long as you need it to be
I have watched all of your videos and now commenting as I did not realize to comment here also. I have always wanted to make my own bows and now I look forward to making my own, thank you so much
Love it love it - thank you so much great idea....we have so many options...colours...paper...and adding names - patterns - etc etc... Thank you again....really enjoying your videos and learning lots too
Yes, in retrospect I wish I'd gone to an office supply store rather than a craft store for my brads! The holes won't need to be larger, though -- the brads will push right through so long as there is a starter hole. :)
So cool! Thank you so much for taking the time to create and share your projects! I'm going to try this with some swan patterned paper I have! You're the best!
Thanks s much Jennifer. I Had made a bow before I saw this video. I didn't do it the way you did. But, it still looked fine. Please tell my why you put the scotch tape on the "pinwheels" Before making the bow?
I tried to resize it, but it won’t separate it onto different mats. And when I make it bigger it takes away the option for 8.5x11, am I doing something wrong?
I love this idea. However, when I went to your website to download the file I could not get it to download in svg therefore I could not get it to upload in CDS :(
I promise the SVG is in the zip archive. What files did you see in the zip archive after you downloaded it? You should see several SVT files, several DXF files, a PDF file, and a text file.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't find the download for the bow template. I've searched and looked on the resource library but I'm just not seeing it.
Head to the library here: jennifermaker.com/resource-library/ Then, just press Command + F (Mac) or Control + F (Windows). A small window will come up near the upper right side of the screen. You will then type, Bow. Then scroll down and you'll click on the SVG file to download. :) If you're still having trouble, please email hello@jennifermaker.com and we'll walk you through it. :)

I'm so glad I found this video! I can't wait to make my own bows!
These are so great!
Clever! It might be easier to use brads from the office supply section from Wal-Mart but it might mean needing to make the holes slightly larger

Good suggestion! 😁🎁

Thank you for your amazing tutorials!! i am curious, have you used your cricut to cut grosgrain ribbon?
Thanks s much Jennifer. I Had made a bow before I saw this video. I didn't do it the way you did. But, it still looked fine. Please tell my why you put the scotch tape on the "pinwheels" Before making the bow?
Wonderful! It is just a personal preference.
so cute. Thank You, Happy Holidays
Thanks! Happy Holidays to you! :)
Can you use gift wrap paper? You know those little scraps that are left over!
Yes, you can!
great to know if I need a bow!
Can you use wrapping paper to make the bows?
Totally! Several people have already done it. I wish I'd thought to do it for the video!
So cute ❤️these
Has anyone tried using the Cricut Party Foil to make a bow? Wondering if it will work? Got party foil in a recent mystery box.
Would wrapping paper work for these?
You could try it! I would suggest trying it with a heavy weight wrapping paper. Thin paper can rip very easily.
Can you use ribbon for this bow?
You could, but the SVG is designed to be cut from paper. :)
AWESOME!
:-) Thanks!
What size brad do you suggest?
Just the standard size 😊
Have a question can’t download the file as a svg file for my design space
This may help. jennifermaker.com/the-joy-of-svgs-training-series
I tried to resize it, but it won’t separate it onto different mats. And when I make it bigger it takes away the option for 8.5x11, am I doing something wrong?
You can change the color of one to be cut on another mat.
Love these! Do you have any more projects that I could do by hand? I am dying to start making your projects but I am not able to buy a cricut yet.
I have a lot of projects that can be done by hand. Mostly the paper ones. Check them out here: jennifermaker.com/papercrafts/

How do I get access to your site. I have been watching your videos for a couple days now
