Good advice again. I personally have been taught to stand at 45 degrees to the kicker so I can see him and the players in the box. Agree to change your position depending if the kicker is left or right footed. Nice tip to take a little step back to make you think whether to come or stay.
A new coach I've just started to train with (before filming this) was preaching to stand at 45 degrees to the kicker . Have to say I agree with him because you are right that you can see all of the players and the kick taker using your peripheral vision. So I'm going to start changing my starting stance to that 45 degree angle.
GK GOLUREMI There is no right or wrong, just different ways which might work better for some keepers than others. Every top gk has a different style so that proves it
@@HenrySaveAll This is somewhat true. I would say there are wrong ways of doing things. But there is no one right way of doing something if it truly works for you. Also, I've found the best way to figure out the best style for yourself is to be open to trying new techniques and ways of thinking. Then you can personally see how they work for you. If you like them you can adopt them to be apart of your game and if you don't then you can keep doing whatever you were doing before. But the important part is at leasts having an open mind.
i was listening to a pod cast on progkacademy and it was saying that goalkeeper need to workout differently as a field player, i was wondering if you could make a workout video bc will has his work out for field players, can you make a video for us goalkeepers
Yeah, Omar on progkacademy has a ton of great advice. I will definitely be making a video on some good workout routines specifically for goalkeepers in the future.
I used to play for a Mexican team academy and the first division coach told us to stay at 45 degrees. In case the ball goes to the first post, the middle or you can run to cover the second post.
Bro, crazy is an understatement. Most of us goalkeepers would put our face before we let it in. I've been hit in the face so many times from one on ones that I have had nightmares of getting hit in the face. Still love it though.
Thank you so much man for the training video's because I'm a starting young keeper and want to learn more about protecting the goal and when I watched one of your training vidoes and it help me
okay ive been trying to get over the fear to come out on crosses I'm one of the smaller players on the field and idk how to get over the mental block of coming out and getting the ball
I think you have good technique and I agree with most of your videos and techniques. When you are telling us the right teqnichue in this video I also agree with it, but when you show videos of examples I think you are doing something wrong. I can see you are using the wrong leg to protect yourself. When I catch crosses I also wait and I see where I can catch the ball. After that I do crossover all the way to the ball and catch it at the highest point. I think this gives a better rythme, but you have to time the run to the ball perfectly.
I've had this conversation with a lot of guys. Which foot you bring up is so dependent on who is actually around and challenging you for the ball. So there's not really any one right answer when just taking uncontested balls like this. With that said my first thought is which foot is going to allow me the best chance to collect the ball. And then my second thought is looking for protection. At 192cm and 88kg most pro field players aren't too interested in really contesting me for the ball. And if they do my size/momentum usually leaves me on the better side of the collision.
Yessir. But just make sure in training you get in the habit of trying to hold as many crosses as possible. You will gain confidence and your mistakes won't really matter. But of course in games if you aren't sure with a ball just play it safe.

Thank you so much man i really learned a lot from this vid
W- hand position. 💯 So important!
As a field player I realize we have to live with you goalies but you guys have to admit that none of you are normal right??
were just a bit crazy
You guys are the weird ones you can’t use your hands

I dive in concrete. I’m the weirdest
Clone boi Same I used to do it on concrete. Not as much since I’ve been playing outdoor.

Training, train painfully slow.
Great mate
Can you suggest what should be the height of 15 yrs goalkeeper?
@Nikola Petrovic I'm 176 and have no problem with height.
Thank you your videos are helping me a lot but I need more guidance from you.God bless you
Please can you send some videos of solo training
Thanks brother
I errored this 2 times and put it in my own post🤣. I said "My ball" and proceeded to slipped it.🤣
I play U12's and when it's a corner the corner kick, taker shoots most of the time
Learnt some good lessons
Crosses are unpredictable and most of the times crosses are powerfoul and i do not know when to react and i usually hit the ball
Bro can you make a video about work about for keepers
Thanks boss
I love you man
How can I improve dive in weak side???
great vid! :)
late so you now if the attacker is going to get it/ you have a better chance of catching

Im 12 so I would be early to the ball ( I paused The vid at 3:20 and Then you say late :( )
I always get nervous to come off my line and claim a cross or corner
On time
I rather be early than being late
Always was my weak point when I played in college....
But what if you’re short 5ft 6
❤️🔥🔥
I am form India , Assam few days I not have any klincit because my tecinc is wrong
tomorrow is my match i am watching
You have a nasal tone in speech, hope it don't hurt your sleep and your know how to manage it , it's well✌️👍
Through adversity to the stars
🥰🥰🥰
Hi
I have not any equipment of a gool keeper so I want a video without golf
My height is 166cm can I be a goalkeeper??
Our best keeper by far was 1.65m so yeah, but he jumped like a kangaroo. So you'd need to work your legs out.
WOuld rather be late to a cross than early. That way when in doubt, just punch it out.

i rather to be early so could train and stretch
Can you make a video about penalty blocks
Yeah, that will be coming up in the future.
Yes
Am really learning alot thanks GK GOLUREMI💪
I'd rather be late because if you're about to jump and you realise it's too late you can drop off
Ellie
Late to a cross
Aapne hi flage pe peerrrr
I think i would rather be late but im a young keeper so im probably wrong lol
Edit: :) i was right
If strikers are annoying you just step on their nails
