In our country if you own a truck you can do very well in life. My cousin owns a truck and has enough to put his 3 kids through college, has a extra vacation house, a cigar boat and is not hurting at all. He is living a awesome life. I have to say I am a little jealous of him.

There used to be something like a National Show Truck Association caravan that used to come thru town here, but it stopped and I really miss it. It was just fascinating to see what's on the road these days.

Dream!!!! I have had furniture lumpers tell me that they were going to become owner operaters and return a few years later to buy a sleeper from me. If you want something ask someone who has it, how to get it. Trust me it works

There was about $270,000 in project. It has a lifetime warranty on Body & Interior for the original owner. It has almost 400,000 miles and holding up great........ Thanks for checking out our video
Just an FYI, many of these guys do put these trucks to work doing heavy haul or specialized hauling where they are over-weight or over-sized anyhow and just have permits due to this fact. They also take loads they know their long wheel base will not be a problem.
Great looking truck. The price was not to bad either. looking at some of the commits. They need to up date their Dot info. It is now unlimited weight limit with only 15,000 pounds per axle. If you go over the 15K per axle you will pay more in road tax. A standard three axle tractor and two axle trailer is now limited to 75,000 pounds or you will pay more road tax. I heard the shortest sleeper you can get a 1/2 bath in is 90 inch. Great looking truck. Some day I will have one hopefully.
It will be in the Seattle area the end of Oct. 2012. Coming home for a checkup and to visit its birthplace :) I'm sure if someone wanted it bad enough. Tom would fly home to Chicago.....
Custom" Semi Truck Sleeper Interior with truck stops showers being 12 dollars for 1 shower all these sleepers need showers in them. Not sure how a trucker can make a living paying 12 dollars a day or every 2 days to shower. So I say this is a good deal. I am not sure how true it is, but I was told the company Snider Trucking which is a national company now has showers and toilets put in all their new Rigs with sleepers.
thts one of beautiful dream truck but the thing is sir most of the time broker declined you coz of ur truck weight problem then u have to weight at gas pump for next load like these days mostly load are 44000- so u know
Even if I drove a million miles a year with swift underpaying so terribly like they do..id never be able to afford a beauty like this....well i can always dream
@MrChevrolet94 Yes the shower has a 12-V fresh water pump, Just like an RV. The hot water heater is Marine. It heats from the heat of the truck engine water or 110-V from the generater. It works with or without the truck engine on or whether it is parked or rolling down the road.....

@MrChevrolet94 Yes I have built up to 180"....Yes I have built motorhomes.....The shower toilet situations seem to work for those who own them..... There is a 32' LCD in the video you watched, We have done up to 50"...We have been installing GPS's for years.... After 30 years of building custom truck sleepers I am retired.:)

I do not know the name of song. It was a free one I found on You Tube when I created the video. I thought it had a nice beat and fit well. Thanks the truck was a kick to build. The owner Tom M. was great to work with. He will visit soon to get a check up and hang out for a few days....
Tom Spent about $140K with Me plus $130K for new tractor The total was around $270,000. Seems like chump change after seeing the $480,000 tow truck that picked up motorhome @ My shop today :)
@MrChevrolet94 No Offense Taken. A 36" X 40" shower is normally big enough for most truck drivers to be compfortable.(and larger than most RVs) Yes the toilet does get wet but my typical customer wipes down the shower when finished the same as they would in their shower @ home. Yes the shower runs down the road @ the same speed as the truck it is securley located about 18" behind the drivers seat. You could also shower in motion if you have good balance........ My question is.. How much extra weight are you adding to the truck with this kind of setup.. That you have to compensate by reducing the max possible weight of your load.. Also, how bad is it affecting the maneuvability of the tractor? I'm not asking to ruffle feathers.. I'm asking because it's something I may do if it's not a drastic change in weight and turning..
Hey i'm 14 years old and been thinking about being a trucker, at first i was embarrassed because its not too common in my state for the trucking business so i decided to tell my closet friend and it turned out we both loved everything we been keeping from each other from Farming to Military, but thats not the case i was wondering what semi would be a good one for both of us to sleep and eat?
+Danny Castro I have ran both Mack and Volvo. Both are fine for teams. I am sure Peterbuilt and Freightliner's sleepers are fine. But no matter who the manufacturer is, it will be an adjustment for the both of you. Be prepared for each others quirks.

The grey water flows to the ground. The toilet uses a cassette toilet, It is a small holding tank that is removed and dumped into a fixed toilet.

Larger tractor means you can haul less weight in the trailer, or did you forget that the max weight is 80,000 pounds unless permitted?
