    Carburator is open to all kinds of debris. The vacuum advance isnt connected and the pcv valve is missing exposing the valve train. :(
    Poor car.

    Oh heck yeah sue them for fraud and theft by deception. Get your car the heck out of there and sue big. Unfortunately it is a civil matter , you have to take care of it yourself and sue. $7500 for an old school engine swap is an extremely unreasonable rip off price especially when you supplied the engine and parts . Ridiculous outrageous fraud someone is responsible for the debts and actions of the company and it sure is not the customer.

    He didn't say it's running BUT HE DID SAY HE DID DO THE WORK BUT INSTEAD OF HEARING THAT OR TAKING A CLOSER LOOK you were pointing and arguing. Acting hostile off the bat isn't the correct way to settle a problem. Once you say he is gonna give your money back, he didn't do anything Right and he's crooked. ANY MAN WOULDN'T TAKE BEING TREATED LIKE THAT, ESPECIALLY IN FRONT OF A FEMALE (WIFE?) I GET THE FRUSTRATION AND ITS A LOT OF MONEY but if you want him to honor any agreement made you should try an settle it in a peaceful and respectful way. IF THAT DOESN'T WORK, GET ON HIS A$$ LOL!! JUST my opinion to give Constructive criticism

      You give a shop $7500 for a job , and as soon as you give them the money , you get a call saying you have to come get your car , we are closing the shop , and it's not finished but you paid the entire amount , lets see how you would react.

      @5starcarreview252 Never pay something that expensive in full for that type of job. Half upfront and the other half when the job is complete.

      @@Jore-rs9bt that’s normally what I do but they kept sweating me for the money as if they didn’t believe I had it, so I just paid them so they wouldn’t have to worry about if I had the money or not. Now I see why they were sweating me for the money , because they knew they were closing the shop

    To say being overcharged after you make an agreement and see a price list is kinda ludicrous. If anything there should be a minimum of two payments if not more like half up front and half when finished. So your aware throughout the process. Yes some charge's seem high but it's going to be if you bring it to a shop. Most shops charge $95 an hour labor only. If the agreement wasn't fully honored then its because of both of you. ALWAYS WATCH YOUR A$$ and you do as long as you don't pay ALL before confirming Completion. This didn't have to happen if you approached this different.

      They over charged me because they never completed the job. I was suppose to be driving my car away from the shop , not getting it towed to another shop.I normally only give half up front and the other half when job is complete , but they kept sweating me for the money so I paid them so that wouldn't be an issue. Soon as they got the $7500 , a couple of days later I get a call telling me to come get my car , the shop is closing.They knew this shop would be closing the day i dropped my car off. They were never suppose to accept the job knowing it would not be enough time to complete.

      What I'm suppose to do weirdo , say no..

    • @paulbean_me
      @paulbean_me 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @5starcarreview252 yes, exactly!! It's called RAS (Reasonable Articulable Suspicion). You don't have to hand your ID over unless the cop suspects you of a crime, which was already established that there was no crime by the mechanic. As soon as the officer said it was a civil matter, the convo should have been over. When an office asks for your ID without a crime to "just to know who he spoke to" it's to run your name to find something on you. Now if something happens to that shop, who do you think they're going to contact first? You did nothing wrong but now you're in their system. It's your rights bro. Don't think they won't take them from you any chance they get.

      Paul is right on the most part. They would look into you if something happened to the shop, and you dont have to give your ID, you can give a first name only if anything.. but 90% of the time they dont run you to FIND something. They just need it to fill in the "Person 1" line in the report. Paul over thinks it on this one watching too many COPS episodes lol

      @rubenalvarado5005 😆. Damn, I didn't say enough on my original post and get called a weirdo then explain my post and get told I overthink lmao. And it's not COPS theses days it's Long Island Audits and The Civil Rights Attorney 😉😂.
