- The Hymn:
Immortal Invisible God Only Wise Hymn
Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes,
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days,
Almighty, victorious, thy great name we praise.
Sung at the marriage blessing of TRH's The Prince and Princess of Wales.
There is nothing, no nothing, as beautiful as a majestic hymn, such as this one, sung by a large congregation in a British cathedral.
For those unfamiliar with Anglican Liturgy: The service proper starts with an "Exhortation", telling people what they have come to church for, followed by a prayer which focusses the congregation. They then say a set prayer called "The General Confession" in which the congregation lays all their sins (in thought, word and deed; both by commission and by omission) before God. They are assured that God has the grace to forgive those who are truly penitent. The reading is from "Revelations".
A great hymn played and sung magnificently for this fantastic occasion.
I love that hymn.
Lovely music
It's pays to serve and love Jesus... Friends hold on.. He's here for you...
Camilla is HRH the Princess of Wales, but prefers not to use the title.
This Hymn was written by Walter Chalmers Smith,AScotchman in the late 19th Centuary taken from the King James Bible in the book of Timothy
"Scotsman"
May God preserve and protect the British monarchy in Christ our Lord we pray amen.
Amen
This building is St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. Along with Westminster Abbey, tis is where our kings and queens are buried.
One of the great hymns of our Centuries sung at this special occasion for Charles and Camilla`s Wedding

There is ,my mothers beautiful face....
Less buffering this time, but it did become a problem at 7mins, This was a great day for so many of us. God Bless them both.
Too much buffering at the moment...will check in again later. Thanks for posting. God Bless the Prince of Wales and his new Princess of Wales.
I think Charles was scared by a ghost in Westminster Abbey when he was a kid. I wonder if he'll push to have his coronation somewhere else, too. Still, he picks beautiful churches for his weddings.
God bless the Prince of Wales!
The melody, St. Denio, is a traditional Welsh tune.
.
This absolution by the church should be more than enough to shut the mouths of the gossip mongers.
charles looks bored!
