    This is a non-toxic way to add a DIY Gilding Wax to your embossed card panels for amazing sparkle and shine. I hope you give this a try and let me know if you want me to show you how to make the paper clay birds! Have an amazing day!

    OMG i see this rubb on, on sites all the time and see fab videos too, but the price here in Holland is way too high for me. Was just (after watching your video about diy exploding powders, first i thought i did want to buy the Arteza micopowders) remembering how many perfect pearls i have, and those bottles are way too small to use amounts of, BUT THAN YOU MENTIONED MAKE UP, YEAH, i have lots if shimmer make up i don't use, yeah!!! Those extra tios you give makes watching your channel extra nice (although the rest of your channel is amazing too😉😂), thx soooo much👍😘

    If you want that true waxy or thicker texture cold wax or wax medium can be used. Dorlan's wax medium is what I used. I orig bought it because it's a cheaper alternative to Tim holtz micro glaze and it comes it a huge jar, so I used it to make these rub n buff dupe. If you wanted to use it on furniture I'm sure a wax sealer (wax based usually in a paint can type package) would be more appropriate than the wax medium although it might be no difference. But for paper the wax medium works great.

    I have been looking for a diy gilding wax and so happy I found yours. I have both on hand and going to try it. Another went thru so much trouble of melting bees wax adding other things like clear glue. This is just wanted I wanted thank you. I saw in the comments someone also used a cold wax medium. I ordered that as well to try. Thank you so much for an awesome video and keeping it short and to the point. ❤️

    Yo compré una caja redonda metalica de la marca Álex, que es cera virgen de abeja,que antes se utilizaba mucho para limpieza de muebles,no llegó a 5€ y no huele a nada.Lo use con un poco de mica y quedo super! Mirare para comprar los de arteza,son baratos? Vives en eeuu? Soy española y si es asi tengo que pagar los aranceles de aduana y son muy caros.Justo ayer tuve que pagar la better express y Spellbinders no me dijo nada de eso y pague de aduanas casi 60€./ Gracias por el tip de no quitar el plástico,ali no se puede escribir,no se que ocurre.Menos mal que no abri la caja hoy.

    • @KathyaKalinine
      @KathyaKalinine  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I will be honest here…I made my samples, put them in jars and while there was a bit of air in the jars, it dried out. So, I recommend that you only mix the amount you plan for your project. Other than that, this way of wax application is amazing. And it is solid with no other additional product required to seal it. If you have more questions, let me know! ♥️

    • @KathyaKalinine
      @KathyaKalinine  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! I still have a few of the cards I made using this wax. The wax ‘cures’ (hardens) over a short few days and when I last checked, it doesn’t rub off. It’s really a neat product and you do not need to buy the larger jar. There’s a two ounce one, too, in case you just want to try it. I haven’t tried it on painted surfaces, but if you search the internet, I’m sure you’ll find someone who will demo it. I hope this helps! 🥰
