Well, training is just cosmetics in Star Wars, anyway. I mean even Yoda states that faith and willpower are what counts. This is cheap, but this is the core message of SW.

No, actually it's not. Telepathy seems pretty consistent in the Star Wars universe, I didn't consider it lazy writing at all. I thought it was perfect. To be fair it's kind of hard to pick apart this movie which was pretty much perfect.
I'd like to see this, too, tho I don't think it would work the same for movies based on books, because they aren't really writing a movie that they can pitch, at most they are pitching using the book as the base for the movie.

One of my favorite moments with Nataasi Daala is telling Luke off for all the one armed ruffians roaming the galaxy because they were unfortunate enough to come across a jedi. Jedi chops off an arm and rides off to another adventure no cares given for the aftermath.

Personally I think V > IV > III > VI > II > VII > VIII > I but either way I like that this video shows how even the best Star Wars movie was pretty silly. People are getting too angry over the new ones when the original trilogy had just as many inconsistencies.
They don't hold up over time. They were the best because we were kids when we watched them and they didn't get the scrutiny we give movies today. They would be bad by today's standards but it is one of the greatest stories ever told.

V and VI were the best and sacred but because Screen Rant does such a good job, I'm going to allow this
Personally I think V > IV > III > VI > II > VII > VIII > I but either way I like that this video shows how even the best Star Wars movie was pretty silly. People are getting too angry over the new ones when the original trilogy had just as many inconsistencies.
They don't hold up over time. They were the best because we were kids when we watched them and they didn't get the scrutiny we give movies today. They would be bad by today's standards but it is one of the greatest stories ever told.
