Loved hearing Kate Smith sing God Bless America. I sang along and tears started to swell up and my heart was bursting with pride...that's what a great singer Kate was, bringing out the patriotic feeling of the love for America.
Thank you, Barry! Not in the same league as having a one-on-one with JD Powers, but it is fun. I'll never understand why one program gets a thousand + views and the next one gets a hundred, but then the next one after that gets a thousand views ... It could make one a wee nuts, if we let it. Really appreciate your note, dear Barry. Stay well.
Loved this video. So many memories for me. I also brought out the ironing board and listened to the radio which was on the top of the refrigerator while ironing my work clothes listening to Pastor John MacArthur every morning before work. I like doing my daily work clothes so I could get my morning church service. I loved it. Thanks for bring back that memory.
Gosh, Tammie, thank you so much. I do wonder if I'm not silly to think anyone really cares about memories ... but I love to share the stories. God bless you!!!
I really enjoyed The Mona Lisa Case. Your comments of the memories of your childhood was precious. I also remember the gas stations ( I remember them being called ~ filling stations ) where a service man came to pump your gas and washed the windshield. Oh, those memories.
I hope the ending, following the Richard Diamond Detective story, isn't too preachy, but I felt I had to add it. I wish every child today could know what it was like to be a part of our country in the times I'm talking about, and to share those times with parents who devote their life to simply being together on a great adventure. Thanks for listening! God bless.

Wasn't she amazing? I heard that and just had to share it with you. Her high notes are so pure . So glad you enjoyed it, Donna. God bless!
This is so cool dear Esther!
