Agnes Moorehead was remarkably impressive in this one playing the younger sister Ellie.🙌 Spoiler Alert: For those who didn't get what happened in the end, Lydia the older sister did push Ellie the younger one down the stairwell and killed her, but Lydia herself got mad and took Ellie's place just the way Ellie was, only more crazy
I know both versions well. Rosalind Russell was miscast in my view. Lurene Tuttle does a decent job but can’t hold a candle to Agnes. Ida Lupino is superb.
