Celldweller and Atlas Plug are a great mix, also, mick didnt work on Killer Instinct Season 3's soundtrack. Celldweller did 95% of the soundtrack and this is one of my fave songs from the game. They really did an awesome job after the departure of Mick Gordon (he left to work on the first Doom game)
oh damn! We already have a bunch of other Killer reacts done, dunno if they're Season 3 so hopefully we didn't repeat our mistake! Thanks for letting me know. Also who the hell is Celldweller? :)))) / George
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses all good! Celldweller (his real name is Klayton) is an electro-metal producer/singer/musician. His songs have been in multiple video games and movies over the years, he does alot of interesting stuff and has been around for a good decade or so :P but it really shows how good they were to replicate mick's style while making their own version of it
If you want to hear more work from Celldweller himself, he did his debut album in 2001 and done heavy kicking songs like Switchback, Eon, One Good Reason and Frozen.
Yay! I'm glad you finally reacted to Kim Wu's theme! Her theme being a mix of traditional and modern is so unique. You can hear it in the lyrics and melody, Combining the fact that Kim Wu is Chinese-Korean, It fits her so well and for her stage being set in Chinatown in San Francisco, Where she's from. Thank you for getting around to listening this! The next theme you should react to next is Maya's theme! 😄😁😄😁😄
@The Windmill Full ov Corpses You're welcome! The trivia i got was from her wiki page on the Killer Instinct wiki. You'll like Maya's theme next. It's got South American, Ancient Mayan, and late 90's/early 2000's electronic dance music elements to it. Plus, Maya's stage is set in a jungle. I would call her music theme "Jungle Rave"! Thank you again for getting around to listening to Kim Wu's theme finally! -Darla
Disclaimer: This isn't Mick Gordon! It's actually Celldweller & Atlas Plug, it's a collaboration work between the two. They were appointed to live up to the expectations of Mick Gordon's work (back in Season 1 & 2) for Season 3... and oh boy they nailed it!! "A Shattered Eyedol" and "Enter The Battletoad", together with "The Dragon Spirit" (this one) are imo the best of the whole Killer Instinct soundtrack. Besides what I mentioned, other honorable mentions from their work are: * The Watchman of the Gods * The Champion of Sanghelios * Nocturne in Blood * Eagle's Theme * For The Horde! All mentioned by priority order, hope you listen to them at some point, your reactions and analysis are awesome as always!
All these are Killer Instinct themes? I kinda lost track of them. But it would be awesome to get to hear them. Also didn't know this is not Mick. Gotta change the video name. /Andrei
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses Yes! Mick Gordon worked for Season 1 & 2 (to this date, vaguely 90% of KI soundtrack you heard is Mick's work). Whereas in Season 3 they switched composers to Celldweller & Atlas Plug, because Mick Gordon was already appointed to make the Doom Eternal soundtrack.
I mean, you gotta add the "HOO! HA!" after that part of the song lol I'm not much into the Chinese, Japanese, what have you, music, but this was sick. I guess Mick can turn anything into something likable lol it does work in some things that's for sure!
Yeah some people were telling us this actually not Mick but still great. I actually really like asian sounding melodies, especially in metal context! Cheers! / George
Since DOOM 2016, Mick Gordon changed completely the video game music landscape. Like a Terraformer. Killer Instinct is a good game, but I'm pretty sure lots of DOOM fans were buying it because his name is in the credits. Not saying the other musicians who worked for this game are not great. I'm just biased lol. Awesome and fun to watch reaction, my dudes.
Mick is one to get you biased! And probably the most reacted artist on our channel! Dude is a GOD! Also definitely agree with that advertising method hehe! Make soundtracks with a free game alongside them! / George

❤️❤️
Thank you so very much! Do keep coming! Cheers! / George
Only started playing Killer Instinct originally for Hisako's theme, please do Village of Whispers. It's my favorite KI song.
We already did it: th-cam.com/video/thMpK5xPTSM/w-d-xo.html

@@thewindmillfullovcorpses oh for real? Well who ever it was they did a good job. Not sure why his name would be in it then.

How to sell a video game:
1. Hire Mick Gordon
2. Advertise his name
-3. Fuck up his mixing-
3. Profit
