Novak Djokovic has one of the best two hand backhands of all time. Give me your top 3 greatest of all time 2 handed backhands list.

      I’ll go with :
      1. Novak
      2. Agassi
      3. Sinner !
Zverev would be 4 for me.

      Djokovic, Agassi, Connors
Nobody looks seriously at the deep past. Jimmy Connors was lethal on the 2 handed backhand side.

Awesome analysis, the only thing I think you missed is how long his eyes & head stay down on the ball, the commitment to the shot is perfection.

Also Jason, could you do one on Roger’s backhand; esp in the later part of his career. Just looking through to see if I saw a video and not one up as yet.
Really interested in your breakdown and thoughts as a one-hander myself 👊

Really nice breakdown of the Djokovic backhand. I have also watched a lot of his backhands, could it be that he changed his left hand grip from semi-western to a more eastern grip resulting in a more flat and less spin shot? Would be grateful to hear your opinion on it.

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed the breakdown. Goid question on the grip position/possible change. I’ll take a closer look at that part soon.

      Looks more “eastern “

Please do a video on Rublev's forehand compared to a normal ATP forehand (e.g. Ruud or Zverev). You did a video earlier but didn't mention how Rublev's racket snaps forwards ploughing through the ball rather than snapping up and over the ball (i.e. to create the windshield-wiper finish) - which is a massive difference between his forehand and the standard modern ATP forehand.

Those are all great points. I'll definitely add it to the analysis list. More to come soon.

The loose wrist helps a lot at recreational level too.
