Bro I just wanted to say I wish I lived in Florida and could play with ya. It can be hard to find a pickleball community that has young people that want to improve and have positive attitudes/aren't toxic. Keep up the good work!
Excellent!!! Such a great explanation!! I so appreciate you breaking it down so well! Especially the exolanation of ooen and closed paddle. No one ever shows that! And i never know what they mean! Thank you again!❤❤❤
Tanner right after my mixed doubles partner froze up from being targeted you came out with a video on "How to Master the Mental Game" I just had a coach and play session where I kept popping up my dinks so the opponents were able to Speedup against my partner (luckily my persistence paid off and I finally was able to get at least two extreme angle back hand third shot drops that were unattackable) and you come up with this great video! You really know what the average players are struggling with and are such an amazing teacher for someone so young!! BTW it was such an awesome experience meeting you and your mom and watching you put into practice everything you teach at the Dingko de Mayo Tournament!
THANK YOU! I’ve taken clinics and none of the instructors give clear instruction on _how_ to hit some of these pickleball specific shots, just where to hit them, when and why.
I can do this, but how do I add topspin from here? I can either hit these well as flat / backspin shots, or I can go for topspin and pop it up. Thanks for posting!
This makes it seem as if you should only be push drinking and not lifting drinking. You need to explain the difference. A dink in your red zone will not be executed like this. Yellow zone you can get away with push dink.
That "push" tip is excellent-great way to differentiate 'hit vs dink'
🔥
Happy to help!

We have quite a large amount of younger players playing. How old are you?

Great way to explain it for those who don’t get the difference 👌🏾

You bet
When I remember the motion comes from lifting with my shoulder, that helps me on the 3rd point to push
Yep!
Terrific explanation

Good question! I’ll make a video on this!

Ok
@tanner.pickleball what is "lifting dinking"?
🐐
:)
Yes, this technique does not produce offensive dink we see pros are performing
Ok
I don't get how that "push" isn't a hit.
I’m not making contact with my wrist I’m letting it just touch off my paddle
@@tanner.pickleball I don't hit the ball with my wrist, either.
Really? Imagine I have two balls? My drinks always popping up!
Hahah
... Except both your live ball demo strokes have an open face... 🤷♂️
Ahhh
Stop saying sssssss on everything omg
