I now have a theory that the Storm Realm just has to be repaired every 10 secs
The storm realm oddity reflects its teaching purpose: Keep your eyes on the track.

Legitimately didn't know about the changing track textures in the Storm Realm. I had always felt something bothered me in that realm but didn't know what. It was that

Most likely it was a few teams knowing the main goal and not realizing that the tracks were different trying to pump out on a time constraint and maybe a few redos or add ins last second. I never noticed it until today and I watch this when I was little more than once.

Exactly, I've watched each movie heaps of times and found almost every hidden detail in each of them
And here I am rewatching them yet again with some friends to get them into it, the cycle never ends.

The funny thing is that he referred you as nolo
I don't think the track switched textures but the model was turned upside down in some way because if you look at the track upside down it's the same thing as the inconsistencies.

Storm realm is supposed to have a focus on maintaining focus on the track, so it makes sense that they’d want to add the detail of having multiple textures on the road to force the drivers to pay attention to it, as for it changing so rapidly that’s probably an accident/ oversight from the devs but the track changing makes sense to me
Amazing video man, almost like Did You Know Gaming but for Acceleracers. Some of the facts i never even knew about (like the track in the Storm Realm) i'll probably never unsee. You were a bit quiet and mumbly at some points, but overall the editing was tight and research on point. Keep up the great work.

The amen break is probably the most sampled piece of media of all time. It's the foundation of a lot of electronic genres of music. Breakcore is a genre that's pretty entirely centered around that sample.

That track texture was always so jarring, that first film definitely had a different direction for stuff, like how the realm turning off was only in the first movie/2 realms

Yeah you’re not alone, I noticed a lot of these inconsistencies myself too. One that comes to mind is that on the cover art for The Ultimate Race, you can see a lot of cars on the AcceleDrome track that aren’t supposed to be there, like Power Rage and Jack Hammer. Really strange but maybe it’s just a result of the animators not caring to be accurate to the story LOL.

Number one to be honest I think the arrows on the road is to show the drivers where to go while the realm is active but since someone completed it it probably went back to how no one was there in the first place

I can't believe i never noticed those details about the Storm Realm once out of the twenty-something times I've watched ignition.

when it comes to track inconsistency I believe this is due to how the realms were done. Most of the realms are heavily focused on the score, the sound effects and movement are working into the realm kinda like making a song and adding sound effects overtop in a way that sounds like they have always been part of the song. See Redline for example.
That being said they most likely designed races based off ideas and filled gaps/smoothing out the final product.

When you saw the tracks would change in the Storm Realm, I’ve always noticed they would look different too.
On the bottom-right & left, I think they are the bottom tracks. And like for the top-left, it’s the top track where people drive on.
Edit: it’s on 1:46, and as I was typing, I forgot you moving the vids around.

It’s funny how I’ve been watching this movie since I was 4 in 2005 when this came out and I still learn new shit from people who’ve watched it a year or a bit more

The ice realm didn't have much shown of it. It's possible that Nolo did actually go into the ice realm. But I don't remember when SpecTyte was built exactly.
How about Verts eyes looking in opposite directions when he says and I quote "Hang On!" directed to sparky who is in the passenger seat. Its in the final movie where gelorum(spelling error) and vert are about to to meet the acceleron(s)
I see where you’re going out with the tracks but think about it what if the arrow on the tracks mean that the realm is activated and so that the driver is nowhere to go but as soon as somebody wins the round the whole realm shuts down

nolo wasn't shown in the ice realm but it was guaranteed that he was in the ice realm because shirako lost his car in the cliffside realm which is before the ice realm and vert is gone. So it has to be Karma, Nolo and Kurt in the ice realm. We see monkey and taro in the realm, then porkchop and wylde didn't have their cars yet so it had to be Tork as well. So only Monkey, Taro and Karma are shown but the other 3 have to be Tork, Nolo and Kurt
Can we also talk about how they had manual cars but in power rage it says park,reverse, neutral, drive, 3,2,1

@@TheRWK hey thanks, also, the 1080 avalanche soundtrack it is the same as acceleracers, why? if you hear when he jumps with the table, you hear a PII, that PII is heard in metro realm when racing drones are going to protect the sweeper, so yes it is

You watched them only 4 times? Mate, I've owned the world race and acceleracers DVD's since they came out and have watched them thousands of times.

I know there's 2 in speed of silence but I forgot them
as a dnb/breakcore producer, that ain't the amen. there's a bunch of other breakbeats that are commonly sampled, although i'm not sure exactly which one was used here. the tambourine sounds a bit like the think break, but the other drums don't so i doubt it's that either.
