These men are some really impressive mechanics, making do with what they have and doing good work. I especially like their L shaped breaker bar/socket handles, the four sides on each end are tapered to engage the socket but also to allow some function as a universal joint. If I were still working on vehicles I would make some like them for my own use. I do wish that someone would warn them about the possible carcinogenic effects of handling gasoline barehanded though.
Billie, notwithstanding the great mechanical ability, I said to myself, I hope they are not using gasoline to clean the parts ( knowing well they were.) Many years ago, had a friend who used gasoline to clean cemetery monuments, died of cancer age 38…
@@FrankieD92 I guess they are using Gasoline. Yes the high Lead content of gasoline is not good to their health. I wonder what is the alternative.
A parts washer. However, when you are working in the dirt a parts washer is a luxury.
So many people assuming everyone has access to tools and clean areas to work in, you are all spoiled and evil for degrading the hard work of these men. Some people just want to feed their families and make an honest living and should be praised for it.

to the westerners who don't understand. These are not poor peasants. They are professionals commercial truck mechanics... they have access to more tools than anything in your garage. Use of hand tools is customary because it's quicker... especially when you've done the job a thousand times and know what tools it takes...
these are Hino trucks using the same bolt heads over decades of models. The kids aren't child labor they are aprentecing...aka learning. While westerners learn about the War of 1812 and how to be college debt-slaves these kids are learning a real trade. And lastly the clothes they are wearing are work clothes! .. not their everyday clothes...
I do appreciate them using the tools they have but to claim that they are faster than power tools- I just do not agree. An electric impact would have removed those nuts and bolts in a tenth of the time they spend getting them off. Also, I do not understand why they don’t use work tables to save their backs.
I see that when they tighten the nuts and bolts they use the German torquing method of Gootintight.

This is crap, anyone who knows anything knows that those bushes need to be reamed with a piloted reamer to keep exact bush alignment. The dirt must take up the slack in everything!!
