@@frayamortensenThe dancing part….was clearly my favorite part of the show. I volunteer my services as “guest dancer” for the Fraya show. Just say the word…aaaaand I am your huckleberry! 🕺🏼🪩✨
Every time you say "Has Christian Anderson", the song Danny Kaye was that name in his portrayal. I know, nonsensical as hell, but hey...that's me. PS: Yay-a for the Fraya Show! 💜💚 PSS: Stevie Wonder is a beautiful human being, for which we all still share the planet with. One of my favorite songs to jam to is SUPERSTITION and "Isn't She Lovely"...always gets me since i was i kid, but especially after i had a little girl of my own. Love ya Fraya!
Good Show Fraya! Some very good points!! I very much enjoyed the show and had a few good laughs, thank you. Thanks for the mention!! I am too tired to dance right now, just had a 12 hour road trip. If we can't love our selves, then how do we expect to love others?
Super concept, it's entertaining and every segment is packed with usefull information. You certainly know how to hold neurodivergent's attention. 🤭 Good luck with the new show, may it bring more kindred spirits to the pack. 🍀 P.S. Boat story reminded me of this quote: "Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction." Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Great show, Fraya, thank you! No, I didn’t dance, though 😉 I’m 6’4” & am not built for dancing, never have. In fact, it took me back to my childhood, being one of six siblings & how much my four sisters, liked to dance at home. They liked to party, too. However, it was never my thing. My mother despaired over me, because I shunned parties, she would organise birthday parties & inflict them on me. I was terribly shy & introverted - or was I? These were my early days, of being a ‘lone wolf’ - & having labels inflicted onto me, whenever I did not conform to society or family dynamics. The stresses are real, when others around us, forbid that you do not conform to the majority. I was a ‘naughty boy’. I think the boat analogy, was also used by the Buddha, he only needed the boat, to cross the lake - from shore to shore. This could be interpreted as the validation thing - his teachings are no longer needed, when you are nearer enlightenment, it already exists within you. But I like that analogy in the context, that we are our own vessel & the captain of it 100%. Similarly, whilst we all ultimately seek calm waters, you will never be a good sailor if you haven’t sailed through a few storms…life is a contrast, it has to be, you cannot experience happiness & peace, until you have experienced the emotions of sadness, grief & turbulence. “Adversity introduces man to himself” & “the man who runs from his fears, finds he has only taken a shortcut to meet them” I absolutely love being in my own. I was married for 32 years & widowed in 2021. Our relationship, was unconventional, by way of a massive age difference of 30+ years. This, on its own, is a condemnation according to societal & family norms. - but like the boat, we journeyed together through the calm & the storms for our mutual growth. No expectations from one another, just committing to & trusting the journey. We were both very lucky in wanting the same things in helping each other grow for our mutual benefit. We were both ‘lone wolves’. Enjoyed the ‘validation’ with your reading of Osho’s book, it has very much, been my journey. Being in aloneness, I don’t know if you find it, but you become magnetic, the light shines like a beacon, to some souls, which is a double-edged sword! I have found, that people want what you have, but they don’t know what it is! They also cannot accept, when I say; that I do not want or need anything from anybody.. & if I do something for somebody, they cannot accept, that I do not want anything from them in return, it completely messes with their internal al narrative. In your last show, I think, you mentioned something about people pleasing. In my experience, it is highly toxic & manipulative behaviour. So I will be interested to hear your take on this, in due course. Have a blessed & peaceful day 🙏
Very important points and very informative.....being alone is first finding yourself, loving yourself just finding your true self 😅 if that makes sense 😂
I like the Fraya Show! 5️⃣⭐️
