Adam!! I am SOOO impressed at how you made it from the airport to the hotel - with such calm grace. I have been to Japan twice and each time riding the train totally scares me. HUGE RESPECT!!
I would have been bawling as soon as I landed. I also would have been scared to death doing all that alone! What a fantastic & wonderful experience. There were so many little magical touches just in the hotel. I noticed they even had a Mickey head folded napkin next to the beverages in the concierge lounge. It's the little things.
So excited for this stream, all credit to you for at least learning some Japanese, that just shows class and respect. Thank you for all your vlogs and amazing hard work that goes into creating them. Some people just assume it's not a proper job and it's easy how wrong they are lol.

my top tip for packing those bulky jumpers etc - vacuum bags! you can get the ones you can roll to get the air out, or come with a mini hand pump. However, I just ask reception to borrow a vacuum (for the way back) and always been a yes at WDW. Really want to go to Japan and love your vlogs. Also hard to find other vlogs going from the UK. so this will be a banger!

Adam! My husband and I JUST did this trip from the US in Sept, and sat in your very seat on JA!!!! I totally related to every thing you said. We did not do Disney tho, hubby works for a travel company in Boston and were on a tour with them. I cannot tell you how much I am impressed with you taking 3 whole trains, WHAT. We hired a private car, was drained after our 14 hr flight. I can't believe your confidence doing that, and then to have the energy to show us around. We too had hard beds, they are everywhere there. A general rule in Japan (Though ask if you are unsure) is that if it's individually wrapped in disposable plastic, you can typically take it with you to keep. Loved this!! It was cool to see the inside of the hotel. As I've been to Tokyo Disney, I was living in Japan at the time, so it was a day trip for me. So never got to see the inside of the hotel when I was a kid!! (This was in '86, right after it opened). Lots of new and old things for me to see again!!! Please be safe Mr. Hattan and have a blast!!

I realize you are already back, so this isn't helpful for you, but for any of your viewers, remember you can get your luggage sent from the airport to your hotel (or hotel to hotel) for a smallish fee. It's super reliable and is great for your large suitcases (still take your carry on with your because it can take up to 24hrs). Makes traveling on public transport a lot easier!

So excited to watch this series! I’ve been to Tokyo Disney a few times and I always have a great time. I went on Halloween in 2023 and got to cosplay at the parks (the only time they allow it), it was such a cool experience getting to meet other cosplayers there.

Disney Seas is Disney's best park ever built! I was there in October with a Vacation Package staying at the MiraCosta Hotel. My best vacation ever! I am so happy for you my friend.
Ha me too. Was there in October I mean. I didn't get to stay in the hotel but I also went to Universal Studios Japan on the same trip. Fantasy Springs is something like 7x as big as Super Nintendo World. DisneySea is so zen. There were so many cubbies where you could not be around so many people and enjoy the park when you needed a break.

Bidets were honestly life changing to me 😭 I was on my period during part of the trip and it was so hygienic. they sell them at the airport to ship home because they know how much people love them!!

Disney Seas is Disney's best park ever built! I was there in October with a Vacation Package staying at the MiraCosta Hotel. My best vacation ever! I am so happy for you my friend.
Ha me too. Was there in October I mean. I didn't get to stay in the hotel but I also went to Universal Studios Japan on the same trip. Fantasy Springs is something like 7x as big as Super Nintendo World. DisneySea is so zen. There were so many cubbies where you could not be around so many people and enjoy the park when you needed a break.

Bidets were honestly life changing to me 😭 I was on my period during part of the trip and it was so hygienic. they sell them at the airport to ship home because they know how much people love them!!
