I love seeing how you use visual support to teach Heggerty whole group! So simple and so effective.

Always enjoy seeing what you're doing. I made slides for my Fundations lesson, but you gave me ideas to make mine better! Love how you are always working to keep the kids active and engaged.

There's no substitute for multi-sensory, sequential phonics instruction. These kiddos will be excellent readers.

Would you be willing to make your slides to where they could be purchased or are they already? I know you couldn't sell the Fundations parts of the slides, but I love your slides! I tried to introduce inflection -s in Kindergarten, but they just were not ready. However, your slides could be the game changer for my students due to the visuals. Love your vlogs, as they are so helpful!

Random question, does your whole school use Smart Boards? Next year will be my first year, and I'll be in first grade. I've been at this school as an aid for 3 years and the whole school has regular TVs except for the music teacher, and I want a smart board 😂 I'm hoping I can maybe request a smart board instead of the TV but I'm not sure yet.

Hi Susan! I recently found your channel and blog and have loved exploring it and using your resources. I am hoping to join the clubs you offer this July. I was wondering if you sold your fundations phonics slides anywhere? I already have your whole group phonics slides but was hoping to get the fundations components too? Thanks in advance for your guidance- I love the simplicity & visuals your fundations is taught with

Good morning Susan, are those slides (love the slides) a part of the Heggerty Program or did you make them?

I made the slides to go along with Fundations (our phonics curriculum)!

No malicious intention against you but I find teaching and learning has become so overwhelming.

Do you share your fundations slides with other teachers? I would love a copy! I teach first grade and need some help with my fundations lessons.

I would love to know what sequence your ELA/Reading block goes and how many minutes for each part. You described this a bit however didn’t talk about the literature component

You may have mentioned this before and I just missed it… But does your school/do you as a teacher follow any sort of reading program? My school just got HMH into reading and it is so overwhelming. I can’t even see straight. your system seems so straightforward.

Congratulations getting another great observation. We are going into week 3 of Heggerty we are using it for Phonics and Phonemic Awareness. I really like it. I wanted to ask you, where did you get your classroom rug? I am in need of one. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas. We have 4.5 more days to go as well.
